17-55 DX mahal because Nikon wanna butt-f**k their loyal users even though got Tamron 17-50 which can match the sharpness or even VC version for less than 1/3 of the nikkor doh.gif
*
true... with almost 1/3 of the 17-55 price i rather buy tammy 17-50

Tokina is alot better then the nikkor lens u suggested... tokina constant f/2.8 yo... drool.gif drool.gif with constant aperture and price less then Nikkor 10-24... no need say and ull know the answer

with RM 800 u can get like 50mm f/1.8D or G...

New camera of course la better, but ask yourself, are the improvements that critical to you? Do you really use them 90% of the time?

And finally is the price difference really worth it?
If you cannot justify then i can only say you want 7100 to syok sendiri only la laugh.gif

ver1 = without focus motor
ver2 = with focus motor
of cos with others enhancement that tokina claim is better la for ver2.

since u getting d7k or d7.1k, ver1 will do since the body has focus motor already if u on tight budget...

About RM300 give or take, as for the shop, it's DigitalsMania at Pudu Plaza.
