Hi everyone. I'm a new owner. Previously coming from xperia z with sucky battery life,  I'm totally impressed with this phone. But the screen seems to be less responsive as I have fast fingers during typing I tend to miss if typed too quickly. Is there anyway to improve the responsiveness of the screen? Tq.

SwiftKey also another option. cant change your keyboard colours too

Rooting guide been posted a few pages back in this thread, no point update the first post since no one will be reading it anyway.

I manage to root and repartition internal memory based on the guide posted a few pages back.

Frameroot is damn easy to use. Far easier than rooting my roommate's nexus 7. I downloaded the driver from a Russian forum, just search for lenovo USB driver.

Lenovo Tool and Lenovo USB Driver already inside Internal (built in) memory, inside folder LenovoTool, no need to download.
for my p780, I'm rooting it using some program named "Geno", only one click root.

Really? I have to download it. Maybe because I change my default write disk to external SD.

yeah, open file browser, built-in storage (if u default write disk is external storage, it will named sdcard0, and then ur built-in storage is sdcard1), go to LenovoTool folder, and u will find LenovoTools.exe and LenovoUSBDriver.exe insideAttached Image

that's normal, it shows you have the 3g coverage in that area, if there's data going on, it will have the white color arrow showing up and down

Hi, for those who owns this phone what do you think about its thickness? Is it too thick or is it just nice?

u have to root ur phone first, and then u can use Titanium Backup to uninstall apps u don't want. if u uninstall supergallery, u'll also uninstall supercamera, bcos both is same apps.
