I can't remember which one, It's either Lightflow or LED manager something. Nope, the LED won't respond with the settings in whatsapp, fb messenger etc. Lenovo P780, quad core / 5inch screen / 4000mah

I am wondering is't smtg wrong with the phone now before I start rooting.Btw, I've saw ppl saying just root with the One Click Root (which i'm about to do later) and press the Red Button at the back case there. But that red button is just like restarting your phone in case the phone hang, so how we actually reset back to the original ROM? I'm still looking way to backup the Ori Rom before I do rooting, any idea? QUOTE(MatShadow @ Oct 23 2013, 11:48 AM) Rooting won't change ur launcher GUI - if that what concerns u. If only gives u access to root so u may do things otherwise not possible w/o it. I'm just curious, so we shall root flash with TWRP recovery then only able to do ROM backup right? Then only do the One Click Root and Repartition, correct? One click root as 'zerohunter' guide earlier was what I used and it really easy and most important it works! U will get rooted in no time and install ur TB to restore our apps / data. My main goal to root is get TB other than few nicks rooting features. Just an advice.. Once root flash TWRP recovery and do nandroid backup and u r practically safe to move fwd. Mike, i know CWM got issues but TWRP recovery works perfectly. Im on twrp and able to nandroid and even partition w/o sweat. It even came with SuperSU - with One Click UnRoot! option. This not tested but my finger itching wanting to press it.. duno why? Now I believe gave enuf reason 4 u to proceed rooting ur phone. W/o root access, ur phone considered not fully utilized lar.. Let me know if u need more convincing.. Ha.ha. FYI, just like my prev A830, my daughter also use this phone to play games etc. So she needed her games data backup and restored. Now she really have a hard time draining juice from this phone as compared A830.. Ha.ha.. This post has been edited by techfreak17: Oct 30 2013, 10:58 PM |

Yes1.is it both on standby? 2.can it run one simcard specially for mobile broadband internet and another for talk prepaid? 2. Yes, can, sim 1 is 3g capable, while sim 2 only 2g. So what u can do (most ppl do) is u put data sim as sim 1, while the call/sms sim as sim 2. There's a setting called sim management where u can set data only for sim 1 and voice/message only for sim 2. Nexus 4 pros Snapdragon quad core 2gb ram Fastest update (nexus series) P780 pros 4000mah battery External storage Dual sim Their prices are about rm2xx different |

Nice... So mediatek chipset inside p780 are not much difference compared to Nexus 4's Snapdragon chipset? I read that GPS inside this phone is also good. Can anyone confirm this? Since I used GPS a lot.
BTW, which seller can give me the best price? Is it in garage sales or somewhere with physical location? I'm in Klang/Shah Alam area. This post has been edited by HexPhoenix: Oct 31 2013, 03:05 PM |

What I mean is snapdragon is more efficient, about the p780 gps, no doubt it's good, it can lock the satellite within 1 or 2 seconds.BTW, which seller can give me the best price? For best price, u need to do some homework to check around, few popular shops that sell lenovo phone are directd, satu gadget, seven mobile, all of them have physical shop |

A simple example that I can think of, it's like AMD and Intel for pc processors, same quad core same clock speed AMD and Intel, but Intel perform better, more efficient |
