Yes, and you call it Factory Reset rather.

Try CH+ and CH- on boot. That will do a factory reset as well.
Then try updating again.

Ha ha....but the cross carriage deal does not apply to this Zee channel. The monopoly exclusive rights that Starhub signed with them when Starhub started operations has finally ended. So now Zee can sell the rights to any Pay TV operator, mio TV in this case. 😊

Oh, i see. Well, for here, every (exclusive) provider is tied up to Astro. Even when Astro axed some channels (like bio. & beTV HD), other players still didn't get it.

It's strange why Hypp or ABN never picked up beTV, bio or even the new Sony Asian ch, GEM.

Do you leave your Astro Decoder on standby mode 24/7 ?

does anyone notice any changes on the display quality with HDMI after updated Astro to v9? I think the picture is sharper. Especially on SD channel, some of the part is sharpened till there's jagged and blocky pixels..
For HD channel is very nice.

I never off it. I have recordings going on all the time.
I have the 8 plug Belkin Surge Protector.
TV, Astro, Amplifer, Blu-Ray Player, Sub Woofer, AV to RF converter.
Two more for phone chargers.

By abit for SD channels, HD channels for me still not that sharp yet.

disappointing with astro.. astro select should have 3 more channel, but until now, it doesn't have.. it should launched by the end last year.. but until now don't..
