The FAQ means Power user can switch to New only.

If using UMI with Power plan, the free 1GB data will deduct before the UMI data provided your line is active.

nope, the free 1gb is used first, then UMI/MB data, then free 2gb

Switch plan you will get 10 days validity with 2gb slow data.

If you top up RM10 on day 59 (can be day 69 from plan switching day), you will get 1gb fast data that's usable for 10 days while active.

Yes, correct. And slightly confusing point, the 2gb is renewed on calendar month basis (first day each month), while the 1gb is renewed monthly based on your initial activation date (day 59 in your scenario). Line must be active to use either, but it's always there in your account.

at the moment, the only way to extend is to top up when your existing credit validity expires... and the older plan gives 2x validity, example 200 days for RM100 top-up

currently, you can still use data in this circumstance, but the umi won't renew on day 39 if your line is still inactive.

The free 1gb is deducted first. And the date the free 1gb is added each month depends on when you first activate it with a top up of RM10 or more.
