green man gaming discounts:
- deus ex human revolution 28.80
- dead island 30.xx
- hitman professional edition 30.xx

gamers gate price error:
- dishonored from beth pack 28.xx (though the sales from other games in this pack covered this cost. )

My cheapass rule:-

-75 to 90% range

-If triple A title then price below 7.50 for games less than 2 years.

-if triple A title n over 2 years old. Price below 4.99.

-if indie, wait for bundle. If bundle, must have at least 2 games i want for less than 5 bucks

-if squareenix, wait for price drop and 75%

-if 2k, wait for price drop and 75% for good games. Goty version for less wanted games. Buy straight if 75% and can apply golden rule of thumb below.

-if capcom. Wait for 75% n below usd5 since capcom has a tendency to kill off their own ip tho not as bad as ea

-if sega, well.. can wait for bundle from amazon or gmg or gg or nuuvem since they like bundle so much

Golden rule of thumb- cover cost with donations from temple of gaben, aka wallet credit from steam trading cards sales, as much as possible.

Most of the games i preordered turn out to be alright, except Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3. Thinking of those 3 still make me butthurt.

what's wrong with GW2? heard only good things about it and the price hasn't dropped below 40% of the original price.

P.S. yet to buy as don't have time for an MMO right now.

Thats why now i only limit myself to one new AAA release per month. Not point getting any more than that as only one will be played at the end, while the rest will be backlog.

I didnt buy anything for July, eventhough CoH2 is out that month.

Then, Steam sales came and i ended up with only a few new games like Sim City 4 and KKND and also some DLCs.

August, there is 3 games i want: Divinity Dragon Commander, The Bureau and Saints Row 4. HhHHHrgrrrggrggrgrhhhhhhhhhh

Have to pick one.

Divinity .. Jet Fueld Dragon make me hesitate a bit..

This needs to be stickied.
So far only 1 game I bought during launch day is Diablo 3 cause had a group of friends that was interested in it as well.

Needless to say 1 month later....

Lol this reminds me so much of my pirating days where I would go to a CD shop and buy games left and right just to try it out. Ended up with so many games that I did not install and the CD already broken.\\

In the end, its about how much time vs the enjoyment you will get from it.

Who have preorder saints row v here? Dunno yet if gta will even come to pc.
