i DIY my own magnacrap. u know the magnet inside a typical Hard Disk Drive? its super strong even stronger than that magnacrap...i remove them and stick it on my filter and move it to new filter each time. plus, the magnet strip from the HDD is BIGGER and LONGER than that small rounded shape magnet found in magnacrap...

Food for thought:

Perodua SC gives their customers some Perodua brand semi synthetic API SM engine oil, viscosity grade is 5w30 IINM.

Thing is, it is damn cheap, less than RM100 per 4L, and the service schedule states that the oil change interval is 10k km. Today's oil change for the Myvi was less than RM110 without labour , and the next service is after 10k km.

Either P2 is selling some cheap but awesome EO, or P2 engines are farking durable.

Even the Vios at home is recommended semi syn every 5k km

ayam thinkin the trick is 5w30... EO thickens over time right? so time taken for it to thicken became longer hence the 10k km service interval?

Guys. Need ur help. Suddenly cvt lite asik menyala. I did stop & restart my car. Tp still menyala. Kereta masih blh drive lbh 40 km/h.

but those content in EO will surely degrade to even last 10k km right? cleaning agent etc sure is used up even before reaching 10k km? i remember once i was asked to service my car at 10k km while on syntium 800 even before reaching 8k km FC degrade like hell edi...

The Eon SC I go to will put 10K Kms if you use Fully Synthethic.

5k only for non FS.


So maybe you ought to ditch that Proton Edar SC and change to Eon SC?

Oh Syntium 800 Semi Synthethic is quite bad. Especially if driven for long distances.

However the Syntium 1000 Fully Synthethic is suprisingly good. Long distances are a breeze with Syntium 1000.

No no no....Proton will give me 10k interval if I use Fully Syn.

drfeelgood hahaha i know know.. i realised u keep bashing them over and over again. u remember where is sc or not. the one beside the high way opposite taman desa baru is eon right. it is quite big outlet and there is sc behind there.

haha. i knw not bashing but then is very unethical to do con ur customer like tat. is easier for me to go eon to service in case they cannot finish it fast i can go back to my school first and once finish then can go back take my car again. now i m praying hard will get it by next week. the sa told me will send to melaka these few days.

I don't think so will change rims. Since I didn't hear them complaining about rims, just the tyres.
