QUOTE(drfeelgood @ Jul 23 2013, 10:53 PM)
guys, if I wanted to upgrade my rims to 15".

What size tyre would be advisable?

I am looking at 195/55R15 but 1 tyre shop told me use 195/50R15. Would the latter be less comfortable?
*
both can use. obviously for the same tire model, thicker sidewall is usually more comfortable at the expense of handling.

Mounting or shaft or watever u all call them.

If you mean mounting the gearbox to the engine, then the bolting points should be the same. Takkan they build different engine block for MT and CVT.

That is, if you use the Getrag MT for FLX, not some random gearbox from halfcut shop.

Never happened to me before. If you maintain the proper offset then should be no problem.

I mentioned before it MIGHT scrub your banana leaf when doing lock-to-lock turns.

This is a public forum, and off and on there will be repetitive questions. Not everyone is hooked on the forum almost everyday due to their nature of job and time constrain.

In other words, I dont like the culture of "HEY THIS QUESTION HAS BEEN ASKED IN THE PREVIOUS THREAD" thing.

There's no such thing as suitable. It is all down to personal preference.
