Common problem for the Saga is that the engine won't start after cranking. If you say the engine starts, run for a few seconds then dies, then it is something different already.

Could be too many factors, fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition coil, sparkplugs, wiring, ECU etc. etc....Maybe davidke20 knows something I don't and can advise accordingly.

Though I will ask you another seemingly unrelated question: Have you dropped your keys lately?

Mahihi. That night I got saw ur intake pipe. Similar to those Honda guppy type big belly I believe this is good when you suddenly give wot and the bigger belly will have enough air to supply into the intake. Just like the new design we saw that night in the newer gaga.

Makes me want to go open pod too.

David, I suddenly thought of what you told me that night about the rev meter cannot follow the engine rev. I saw that blm don't have this problem? Right? Or also have. Because you told me during our test drive when I was reaching the 6500rpm redline mark its actually already 7200rpm...because all the while I'm doing launch following the meter and on 2nd gear I always try to maintain not dropping over 5000rpm but I tried a few times its about 4500~4800rpm but considering the lag of the rev meter so 4500~4800rpm is actually not correct right? So to conclude the lagging is 1000rpm+ please correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh to the guy that night that brought me back to the highway. What's his nick here? I forgot jor want to thank him for leading me out.

Sudah sampai kampung. Nice 'upgrade'. The FS n ular oren really affect the car prfomance n fc got better! Thnks v12 n david!

B4 installed those thing, only 1bar left aftr arrived my hometown(with tekan2). And can drive about 20km b4 fuel indicator blinking.
But tonite, got two bars left! Nice. My driving style is more aggresive compared 2 last balik kampung. 110-130 km/j at most of the tym. Two times I drive 160-170km/j for short duration with 1 tym cvt lite menyala(I think bcoz I fully angkat kaki dr pedal, the cvt can't 'match' with engine speed kot).

I bkn jenis yg berani bwk laju mencilok. I prefer 2 let other cars overtake me n won't kejar mereka. But tonite, really want 2 try sama ada those 'upgrades' really worth 4 what I've spent.

After all, 2 many things 2 consider 4 fc part. Bcoz last tym masa blk kmpung, kereta masih teruna (400km mileage). Yg skrg dah 1st service.

But overall, really satisfied!
Btw, mahihi's rsb really makes me very confidence to tackle every corner. Most of the corners I manage to drive @ 100-110kmj without rasa 'terapung'.
*only 1 corner fail. Don't know whether takut@kaku dgn speed kereta perdana v6 di depan. End up with me push the brake 2 slow down. Agak bergoyang masa tu.

The engine's sound also lbih slow. Masa stop la. Masa tekan, still bising. Hehe. Tak boleh beza@ingat dgn bunyi yg dulu. But rpm sngt mudah ke 6000.

To v12k, boleh trade ka fs lama dgn super fs? tongue.gif

**I read diz comment(my comment) many tym. It sounds like over, terlebih2. But I don't have any better words 2 describe my experience tonite. David's ular(phew) offers more pick up in term of less throttle lag. V12k's fs offers better acceleration. Rpm 'sky-rocket' easily. And both of the product, so far, I can't see those things in the market. Grounding wire sure ada. but, still david pnya far better in term of prfomance n value/prfmnce.

Mahihi offers rsb at lower price compared 2 others. 4 me, it is so lucky join this thread ni and kenal mereka.

Now have tempat 2 basuh kereta. U can say dat, tmpt basuh kereta ada banyak, bersepah. But ini tempat, hasil basuh memuaskan. The best part is-he oso helped me setelkan masalah tahi burung shilaka. I wont afraid 2 distribute the 'brochures' bcoz his 'service' (phew, again), adalah berbaloi.

After this want 2 learn bout car modding yg lain. Masa TT dpt tengok mods kereta2 yg ada. Hope no forumer kata, haiyo alphabet, front grill pun mahu ka. tongue.gif

Immobilizer? Sound's legit if you ask that laugh.gif Anyway, I think it's better for him to send SC to diagnose with the magical PDT. It could also be fuel dirty(water vapor mixed), or slightly overflow that causes it.

I personally wouldn't think it's a fuel pump though. Usually, if fuel pump rosaked, you don't get the 2nd chance straight away stranded by the road side. That kinda start and choke off can simply because of air pocket developed in the hot sunny afternoon when petrol vaporized after drive, sometime it also happened at night time. Very hard to crank start lar, start already engine stall need to start again lar, these happened alot to me. I'll just have to crank start again and do not fiddle with the gas pedal when attempt to start.

Dude, when there's a lag, you can't conclude. To safely assume, each upshift will give you a 2krpm down matching. Hence, to actually make full use of all the torque within range, best to upshift is 6krpm instead of anything beyond that. Cause effectively, the max torque is delivered at 4krpm and range between 4~6krpm. Next time when you go for time attack, try to put a virtual red line in your mind as 6krpm, you'll be suprised to get better timing.

There's only 2 ways to find out how much lag and your actual redline is
