project μ brake pad is gooding~ it is good to check your disc rotor too, the uneven surface can lead to squeaking sound when braking~ but might as well change to new rotor better brows.gif

Anyone here with AT cps neo?..Mind sharing your radiator picture and brand?Plan to go double layer and try to figure out the visual different..Mine is manual, denso.ppl said proton used single for manual and twin rad for AT..juz to double confirm..
*
r u saying AT CPS have double layer radiator? mind to elaborate? from my observation, both water and AT fluid are cooled in a single constructed radiator (2 radiator sides built in single construction)~

dun ask me to elaborate bro,i'm thinking juz like you and since i never see the AT radiator so i ask weather is it true or not.I mostly do the conti car where they have ATF cooler on their own.not single construct with radiator(maybe one or two did have).if that so its not the double layer radiator.
*
I am driving AT and it is true both ATF and water are cooled in a single constructed radiator smile.gif it is not double layer

I am at a crossroad now, my T1R donuts are going to be replaced soon and currently looking for new donuts~

A shop offered me Nitto Neogen for RM365/piece that performed on par (if not better) with my current Toyo T1R (purchased at RM380/piece)

However I also found out that Michelin PS3 current price is RM450/piece in Kuantan (last time I checked it was whopping RM530/piece) and I am also tempted with the sexy Yokohama AD08R priced at RM480/piece.

Oh yeah, the size I am talking about is 205/45/R16.

I am wondering is Nitto Neogen is that good with the price is RM15 cheaper than tried and tested Toyo?

I am also wondering if AD08R is worthy with being RM30 more expensive than PS3? Thinking of trying higher tier tyres this time rclxub.gif

Quite pricey u got that toyo.I got mine about RM340 per pcs here in selangor. How long u use it and mileage till it broke ur pocket again?..  laugh.gif
*
I bought it about 1.5 years ago in Klang but the size is 205/50/R16 (purposely use thicker profile) any currently serving more than 35000km~ so do u know any feedback regarding the Nitto Neogen? The shop say it is better than Toyo but priced cheaper~

Also imho tires like this you need to at least try once to know what it's all about wink.gif

Agreed with u, just want to know if the performance really good to offset the disadvantages (more expensive, shorter lifespan)
I think I might give it a try~

hahaha, initially want to change the rubbers only (205/45/R16) but upon arriving at the shop no stock pulak~ so he offered me 15" wheels + AD08R tyres for RM1900 (trade in old 16" wheels) as opposed to 16" tyres only price of RM1920~ very tempting that offer and my instinct is so strong for AD08R so there it goes~

today just got opportunity to try it and very satisfied with it~ Firstly, it was raining heavily in Shah Alam and it does not aquaplane easily (as there are myth that this kind of tires performed very badly in wet, the grip feels just like T1R before (driving in wet 90-100 km/h) so I am very satisfied with it (no matter how expensive your tires are, do not drive in insane speed during rain).

Then, I tried in Karak uphill and it was mixture of damp road (light rain) and dry. To my surprise, the grip is way better than T1R, it was my mind playing games with me to let go off the throttle (not confident when using T1R) but I just plant my foot down and it corner without a sweat! There are corners that I usually shift down to get more traction but after getting used to AD08R grip, I don't have to shift down and just enter the corner with confidence. 140km/h attacking those corner is very easy (I'm just a noob driver unlike Quazacolt)~ notworthy.gif

Then I purposely took Temerloh exit to see how it perform in normal road. From Temerloh to Kuantan, it was dry and hot all the way but there are some sections where the tarmac are loose and this tyres grip as expected. Attacking those corners is definitely a newfound confidence to me.

There's my initial review after about 500km of usage.

Thanks to Quazacolt for the poison~ damn! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

nice small review, very hard to take corner with 15 rims and with that speed since it very light but the tire do wonders..i know what tyre i want to go next.. thumbup.gif

Bro, at 1st I was thinking the same too but the steering weight do not change and I'm very surprised! Maybe it is due to 205 width...

proton atf sp3? if your satria is on a japanese AT box, consider trying motul's ATF 1A brows.gif
*
I dunno if my gb is Japanese or not, need to check~ but I have tried Eneos, Redline D4 and Proton ATF all same feeling~ no one in the list showed significant improvement~ the difference is the price~ so I'm sticking to proton ATF only coz it is cheap and reliable~

But for EO, definitely got difference~ currently on Liqui Moly~ gooding and not too expensive~

Can't comment on the Eneos,  however red line and Proton atf sp 3 are of different specification /standards. So you really got to find out what at box model you're on.

Another thing would be if you actually want manually shift your at box,  if you don't I guess Proton atf is fine.

For me personally Proton atf can't last more than 5 to 10k km, degrades too damn fast and shifts will delay a lot sad.gif
*
Wow, how do u know I purposely downshift my at box? U got lubang for Motul ATF? price? brows.gif

50/liter, but again better get the correct model /specs. Using wrong atf would decrease transmission performance and potentially damage gearbox
*
My ATF is based on Mitsubishi SP-III standard and this Motul conform to that too. Where I can buy the ATF at RM50/litre? I look around in the forum, the seller quote RM58/litre.

People only go for 8JJ for the looks, but 7JJ is enough for traction, provided you get the matching tyres~
