guys, is time for me to change my tyres, almost use to the max...

currently is using 195/55 r15, full time city drive, max speed nvr exceed 100km/h..

any changes shld i made to the tyre size (to 195/50 r15)? cause been reading from somewhr tat 195/50 improve fc by sacrificing comfort hmm.gif  hmm.gif

what brand is better in terms of price and performance~?
*
205/50/R15 Nitto Neogen seems reasonable
205/50/R15 Yokohama AD08R for extra hhhhnnnngggghhh
205/45/R16 Toyo T1R is easier to find
Michelin PS3 is has the best balance between wet and dry grip, but pricier

Regarding my car going left or right even at the straights have been finally resolved. The machanic checked the tie rod end and found free play at the knuckle. Seems like the hole that holds the tie rod end had expanded n becomes bigger, perhaps due to last accident. So the mechanic put tapered washer in the hole and install the tie rod end back. No more free play. Perform a thorough alignment and camber adjustment, the handling is as sharp as before.

The steering feeling now is waaayyyyy better than orgasm. Hhhhhngggghhhh~

maybe its time for an upgrade..any suggestion what type/brand of rotor is good for money?  sweat.gif

Cross-drilled and slotted disc on all 4 brows.gif sets u back around RM1300
Or if u can find Jun's Racing e-slit rotor, kinda looks cool, fitted on my wife's Gen2 and pair with Project U pads brows.gif
Or if u really no budget, just get the normal one oso ok, around 300
Have u changed the brake hose to steel braided hose? That has a very significant improvement on your brakes, around RM400 thumbup.gif

RM1300? pengsan.. rclxub.gif

googled on Jun's e-slit rotor and yeah it looks cool the design..how much it cost for a pair?

I did asked around local shop on the steel braided hose..but din change it coz of the expensive price..What kind of significant improvement eh? Can share more pls..

and how about this rotor? the price seems lot cheaper for a slotted cross drilled..what do you think?

RM650 per pair, same for Jun E-Slit.
Steel braided hose eliminates spongy feeling of your brake and more linear braking response.

Bro, my car also got weird noise at the rear side, mostly rear-right.

When go over bumps or uneven road, it's sounds like something was loose, knocking, clunking.

So, is it possible will be the lower arm problem? icon_question.gif
*
I am not so sure about that. But I once had a 'guk-guk' sound at the rear and was caused by damaged wheel bearing. Change bearing (make sure u got the right type, ABS wheel bearing has crown) and the sound gone. Have u hit potholes before?

Hi, my car is having a very bad and very strange problem now. Need your advice before sending the car to workshop.

Strangely, one of the spark plug (from the rightmost cylinder if u see it from above) popped out. It turns out that the thread is also loose. I cannot screw it back (got free play).

What could be the cause? And how to solve this problem? definitely I need to bring my car to workshop but I wanna know your opinion to avoid being chopped by the workshop.

Very sad right now cry.gif cry.gif
