Is it hardware or software glitch?

can I get it replaced with a new phone?

what is the problem that is caused by the purple tint?

I heard that all htc one has this problem,is it true?

some say is hardware, some say is software.

ameeyn Well, I for one don't have purple tint issue but I have RED NOISE problem. most of the ONE users are affected with purple tint though, so I'm the odd one out.

red noise in camera? tats death pixel in camera sensor. It happened alot on camera when use on low light and high ISO

jloi happens while I do the 'purple tint' test wor. Normal? @_@


PS : My ISO auto always.

yup it is normal for camera sensor. abit death pixel nvm 1 can easily photoshop
Purple Tint not sure is software or hardware issue as discussed everyday by everyone.

jloi but when take pics, the red noise is not there. Its only there when I cover the camera up, then the red noise will be all over the screen. still normal? haha

Well ask urself, when u cover the lens with ur hand or whatever, isn't it become low light?

BTW i just tried with myc amera. if u cover with ur hand, u din cover finish leaving a bit light going in and saw red noise everywhere is normal also that's real noise, not death pixel due to high ISO usage. When i cover my hand ketat ketat on lens, pure black

tapi I also cover my lens ketat ketat, the red noise will come all over.

sadly, this is a defect..better go to service centre and ask for a replacement..(if u bought it within 14 days can get one to one exchange)

Yea but just minor defect....mine one whole screen turn red

I can assure u it is normal.
When I put it on the table it is pure black and slowly noise coming out. That's because the sensor adjusting the ISo and absorbing the light.

If you all take a picture, does it turn out ok? Are the only pictures you guys take are of tables with the camera facing down? If not, then its not an issue.

But my phone is totally turn to red is that normal ?

i sent to times square htc service centre ady...lol, its noise red i guess, just that its lagi teruk one, cover the whole screen into red colour...lol
