Just a minute- seeing all the high rise developments, where will the people be coming from and stay here? Isn't the place they come from will be left empty?? So the population will back to square one, either average out or 1 side empty and the other more and more crowded.

We have

- population boom (which means demand for housing),

- middle class upgrade (due to security or affluence they upgrading to highrises or old people moving out of landed),

- higher level property awareness (which means normal ppl dat dont care about property is now coming into property),

- increasing corporate purchases (mainly for commercial/for reit/co. purchase/govt backed projects and more co. venturing into property),

- foreign purchases (in the case of Iskandar and Melaka)

and

- the boom in personal wealth (which means more and more ppl are buying >1 property).

rm 1000 psf? shocking.gif

even if the 2700 sf unit sells at rm800psf will make up to rm2.16m ... with tht money i can buy DSL landed in MD with balance cash to reno as i like and some saving as well ... same thing , there got ikea + ikano + curve + 1U ...

so y pay more for someting "to happen" while u can get something "happened"?

developers nowadays realli pricing kaw kaw

even if its Asia's biggest Ikea , doesnt mean staying opposite it had any special benefit .... houses near pasar borong selayang doesnt sell much higher than houses near pasar pagi ss17 ...

But then again ikea is no ordinary pasar borong tongue.gif
It still doesn't justify the sky high price. I'm wondering who are all these affluent buyers

some doubt the location but for those who arent familiar with this area...its less than 5-10 minutes away from bukit bintang....directly next to TRX....very near to pudu jail redevelopment, or the infamous menara warisan...

existing surrounding may not be 'expensive' yet....but u cant doubt the location smile.gif

but i wouldnt wanna stay direct opposite of any huge ikea...nearby is fine...not opposite...hehe

yeap. the cochrane station is underground mrt. this project worth to whack.
underground mrt make the surrounding more classy and city like. mrt underground = air-conditioned station brows.gif
mrt fly over the sky not so good. blocking the sky and nice surrounding view.

Elevated MRT is only for "Suburban".

So I guess Cochrane will be incorporated within KL City.
