No, you will likely run out of GPU processing power before hitting the VRAM wall. I did posted on this awhile back. biggrin.gif

hmm... hmm.gif so it would not increase performance but can work on greater resolutions right?? it has to be good for something~ hmm.gif

Contrary to popular beliefs that more VRAM (e.g 2GB vs 4GB GTX 670/680) is actually beneficial at greater resolutions, but so far I've checked a few reviews (HardOCP, Techpowerup) and they have actually concluded that the extra VRAM actually brings no additional benefit, even at higher resolutions.

I would go for those models not available here locally. Evga GTX 770 ACX seems like a good choice. biggrin.gif

True, this model never made it to our country. Anyway, there are better cards that you can get from nowadays, with that same amount of budget.

Actually, between the two (Zotac and Evga), I will get Zotac. Available locally, any issues easier to RMA. Price also not much difference. Evga GTX 770 ACX around $420 ($420 x 3.2 + RM85 = RM1429). Zotac GTX 770 AMP! is RM1499. Yes, I think Evga got no free games. smile.gif

Haha, one man's food is another man's poison. Up to you man. laugh.gif It seems that Evga has slightly better temps, but note that cards with GPU Boost 2.0 will tend to have its load temperatures close to the temperature target (80 C).

i'll always consider temperature in buying GPU's, your GPU wont live long on high temperatures.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX...ghtning/30.html

for 7XX series, brands like Gigabyte, MSI, Asus tends to have lower temperatures. Evga, Zotac and the others then to have higher temps.

i read many reviews, MSI seems to be the best in the 7XX series, in terms of temperature, noise, overclockability~

What high temperatures are you talking about? For the record, GK104 GPUs have a max temperature limit of up to 98 C. Even with reference fan, you will never hit that limit, unless your card is clearly defective.

that was for GTX770, this is the GTX760 review, can have a look at the temperatures, you will notice that MSI and Gigabyte have really good cooling and check out their noise levels~

high for ur body but for GPU? i dont think so. As long as not reaching the design Tmax of the GPU, nothing will happen, just ur system will feel hot only.

but of course, lower the better, so ur overall system not so hot, GPU hot might transfer hot air to ur CPU, cpu is more fragile, Tjmax owes around 70-80c only.
