guys..i just notice that in my Nvidia Control Panel, i dont have this option "Preferred Graphics Processor" using 314.22

i want to change this to High Performance nVIDIA proccesor..310 got this setting right

TwinFrozr is great! Most games max temp around 62'c at 70+% fan speed. Less demanding games doesn't even reach 60'c. At that speed, the fans was audible but doesn't sound like vacuum cleaners (casing just right beside my monitor).

However, this was tested at night in aircon room (closed casing).



So far, most test showed >100% improvement in FPS (upgrading from GTX460 to GTX760).

For Tomb raider, not too sure why the min FPS is lower.... maybe due to the monitoring tools as I noticed there were microstuttering on and off. As always TressFX really kills FPS on Nvidia cards.....

Don't understand what you mean. My control panel do not have this either. Are you talking about Physx setting?

Just nice. My previous GTX670 at stock clock yield 31.7fps on average

On unigine? GTX670 is faster than GTX760. My AA was off as wanted to compared with previous GTX460 benchmarks. The rest of the settings were maxed.

Yup. On Unigine Heaven 4.0. Owh. I set it out at 8AA, quality ultra and tessellation extreme

How come your sig shows HD5670

I'm loving the temps. My GTX460 was running around 70'c at 60% fan speed after one cycle of unigine. This card is much cooler....

What's the temps on GTX670?

Haha. It was my previous card before I sell it to invest on Haswell. It was Leadtek. I can't remember what's the temperature. Need to godek2 back the screenshot. But the noise at 70%

Indeed, the TwinFrozr IV is one excellent heatsink. You have slightly better temps compared to my DirectCU II. After a run of Unigine 4.0, temps hover around max 65 C at roughly 70+ % fanspeed. The fans are left on auto though. It spun faster than I expected it to be, but nevertheless it was still pleasantly silent. I think MSI and ASUS definitely hit spot on the thermal solution. Kudos to them on this.

Btw, what is your max observed boost clock? Mine tops out at 1150 MHz.

How much FPS you get on Heaven 4.0?

Haha... Leadtek lower quality brand ma....

Using MSI gaming app, 1129mhz on gaming mode. If OC mode, 1189mhz at 100-110% power. I can actually set power limit to 145% but didn't do it. Not planning to OC my card.....

Just benchmarked mine. 8xAA, Quality : Ultra, Tessellation : Extreme, 1920x1080.

I see, you only need to click either Gaming or OC Mode right? By default it's at Gaming Mode?

yes bro..about Asus cooler i admit is best cause i already use both camp (hd6950 dcuii and gtx680 dcuii) btw about MSI im otw to save money to buy gtx760 or gtx770...i'm so jealousy kmarc already used it

i want ask if we OC to our GPU for long term it can be damage???

Lifespan wise, yeah as youre pushin it more than its rated clock speed

As for whether will it be damaged, if the oc is stable, no problems at all. Not unless you push the voltage >1.5V
