QUOTE(DreamScars @ Sep 8 2013, 07:10 PM) ^about the mousemat, i would suggest speed edition, control edition is more for fps games while for d2 you have to scroll across screen more often . though it actually comes down to personal preference imo its all preference. the grand daddy of the razer speed edition can be considered the everglide dktmat, aka the signature mat of destrukt - a FPS player. from that gave birth to razer mantis and now goliathus. the control version should have come about due to the offering of it on the ExactMat.

QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Sep 9 2013, 05:32 PM) At first I wanted to go for Brown, but after some "hands-on", I terus got poisoned by the Blue clicky sound and feel. Haha, I guess I will just settle with my DA 2013, real nice mouse. Btw, how is your Kana Dota 2? Saw from your siggy. tbh while the shape feels nice, the switches are a little hard and the sensor is quite bad . just 4 dpi steps and tracks badly at 1600 and 3200 dpi. they've resolved both of these issues with the new kana v2 This post has been edited by DreamScars: Sep 9 2013, 05:37 PM

Thought of trying it out, since it comes with a nice bundle. The default DPI steps are 400-800-1600-3200 right? This is done by clicking the DPI button right? Without any softwares?

Without any softwares? default DPI's are those that you stated. it has software but all it does is to assign macros. you can only switch between 2 DPI levels according to what you have assigned in the software. one thing i'm sad about is that DPI values are fixed and can't be altered even with software This post has been edited by DreamScars: Sep 9 2013, 06:46 PM

Wah, if the DPI are fixed and can't change other than the pre-defined settings, then it's definitely a minus point for me.

I've set mine to 400 and 800 dpi and the mouse remembers my config when I plug into another laptop. So I think yeah But if you just got the mouse, you need the software This post has been edited by DreamScars: Sep 9 2013, 07:57 PM

QUOTE(AaronFPS @ Sep 10 2013, 01:16 AM) normally fps games is control? Yes. The idea is so you can have better control on aiming your enemy. However, different people, different taste.

It's item (i) under Exclusions and Limitations. I have a Razer Orochi and its original rubber-like top coat has already lightly worn away in a couple of weeks. My Orochi is now 3 years old and the top coat is all gone. I kinda like how it feels now. But I wish Razer releases an original cover for the Orochi, much like what they did for the Black Chrome cover.

QUOTE(ZoidbergFry @ Sep 10 2013, 02:48 PM) the top surface where the hand touches the mouse aw...no...maby i complain to them "hey y ur build quality to bad" then maby they will accept it LOL, really. It would be like returning a car to Proton because the tyres got worn out from all the driving you did. They'd probably laugh at you. Seriously, you'll be wasting your time. That's why the terms of use are provided to you in the box when you purchase something. Unless the mouse was defective, they wouldn't waste a breath on you. Is it bad customer service? Nope. They're just honoring the contract that you effectively agreed to when you opened the box.
