^about the mousemat, i would suggest speed edition, control edition is more for fps games while for d2 you have to scroll across screen more often smile.gif . though it actually comes down to personal preference imo

Small only RM40 but not the newest version.
*

just bought Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, any different with Stealth version?
very impress with the keyboard the size, the feel and the back lit color is super bright yooo.

deathadder 2013 also good, probably the best optical mouse that i ever bought. The sensor is very smooooooth
*
congrats on your purchase smile.gif
stealth version of bwu has mx brown switch which is silent but tactile, essentially normal bwu without the clicky sound.

Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 uses Cherry MX Blue switches, distinctive for their "clicky" sound, while the Stealth version uses Cherry MX Brown. You can read some real superb info here from our own LYN keyboard enthusiasts. smile.gif For me personally, I prefer Cherry Blue switches as I type and also game a lot, so the "clicky sound" is definitely a plus point for me. biggrin.gif I nearly wanted to get the Ultimate 2013, but I finally settled for the cheaper CM Storm Trigger which is nearly RM80 cheaper. sweat.gif But too bad it can't match with my DA 2013 (red vs. green lighting). tongue.gif And yes, the DA 2013 is indeed the best mouse that I've owned and used. thumbup.gif
*
i'm typing on cherry browns now but super miss the clicky sound from cherry blues sweat.gif
the da dragon age is red themed brows.gif

At first I wanted to go for Brown, but after some "hands-on", I terus got poisoned by the Blue clicky sound and feel. biggrin.gif Haha, I guess I will just settle with my DA 2013, real nice mouse. smile.gif Btw, how is your Kana Dota 2? Saw from your siggy.
*
tbh while the shape feels nice, the switches are a little hard and the sensor is quite bad sweat.gif . just 4 dpi steps and tracks badly at 1600 and 3200 dpi. they've resolved both of these issues with the new kana v2 smile.gif

That's enlightening. tongue.gif Thought of trying it out, since it comes with a nice bundle. The default DPI steps are 400-800-1600-3200 right? This is done by clicking the DPI button right? Without any softwares?
*
default DPI's are those that you stated. it has software but all it does is to assign macros. you can only switch between 2 DPI levels according to what you have assigned in the software. one thing i'm sad about is that DPI values are fixed and can't be altered even with software cry.gif

Meaning if we install the software, and then set the DPI to e.g 800 - 1600 DPI, I can only switch between these 2 settings via the DPI button? Wah, if the DPI are fixed and can't change other than the pre-defined settings, then it's definitely a minus point for me. sad.gif
*
yep, i knew this before i bought the mouse but still bought it anyway. now feel kinda stupid cry.gif

can set to 400dpi without using the software like plug n play ?
*
I've set mine to 400 and 800 dpi and the mouse remembers my config when I plug into another laptop. So I think yeah smile.gif

But if you just got the mouse, you need the software

anything rubber coated will eventually wear off smile.gif
though i like the new hard plastic material better, can't stand rubber coating things having greasy look after some usage.

unfortunately no hard plastic mouses.
even DA BE has some hard coating / paint on it, and mine has already worn off around the logo area from my palm rubbing on it too much.
*
DA 2013 is hard plastic, no? or I'm wrong hmm.gif

still has some sort of coating on it, but not rubber.
if not wrong, the only razer mouses now without coating should be the mirror edition abyssus / orochi.
even that one also i guess still has some clear coat to make it gloss...
*
I see, thanks for the input smile.gif
