QUOTE(sicklad77 @ May 29 2014, 02:06 AM) Awesome movie. Recommend everyone to watch this movie.. Well played tom cruise. Kinda has the previous essence of the future-robots-slave thingy from his last previous movie(forgot the title). But this one was better. Is just the ending I'm kinda noob and don't understand. Is it really good ?. I hate his previous movie oblivion or its something similar?

This movie may well be the first flop of 2014. No comicbook superheroes, not much awareness amongst the public.
It doesn't deserve to flop. It's a helluva fun movie. Watching Tom Cruise die over and over again is hilarious. And yes, the ending is a bit same-same, but by then you'd already be invested in the story.
Take time to watch it.
Definitely more worth it than freakin' Amazing Spider-Man 2.

the manga "all u need is kill" is better i find the show not up to my expectation for it. personal rating to it 4/10 some of the crucial thing that they did not include in the show » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1) in every battle rita will ask a random trivial question to everyone she met who is dying. that way if that person respawn they will know what she's gonna ask and tell her the answer before she even ask them (ie the day before she actually ask the question). this is how she know if they have the ability 2) how did rita know she's "out"? the only way to prove it is to die, which we know she did not (not from cage pov but from hers) 3) where's the f**king axe/sword? she did not even use it past the beach fight 4) no number marking on cage hand. thats the way he count how many time has he respawn 5) brigham (the general) has pratically 0 reason why he wants cage in the battle 6) after brigham give the device to cage willingly, why did he order them to be captured?

QUOTE(mitodna @ May 17 2014, 03:45 PM) The manga is on going I think. It is based on a mini story by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Can't wait to see the ending if they follow closely to the novel or not. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Wonders what culture references will they replace Green Tea?
none. now the guy will keep going to rita and explain "he got the power"

Getting Started

Thoroughly a very fun movie. Didn't realized Emily Blunt can pull off the action heroine type. The countless death of Tom Cruise is a lot funnier than I could have thought. Hope Cruise's partnership with McQuarrie can maintain the momentum through their next movie together.

Cage said the same thing after he got his blood changed. Bit of a cop-out, but it works. QUOTE(Frostlord @ May 29 2014, 02:38 PM) 6) after brigham give the device to cage willingly, why did he order them to be captured? Because he was alone in a room with them and they had a gun. Giving them the device gets them away from him and allows more people with bigger guns to handle them.
