Just seen it, best of the summer movies so far. Emily blunt is hawt.

This is the best movie up to date 2014. It is far better than The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Godzilla and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Both Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were good in their role.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie. I was totally invested in the movie. It kept me on anticipation mode until the end. This is definitely the best summer movie so far. I will definitely recommend this movie to others.

I love the action, plot is tight, CGI is impressive, great story!!

Tom Cruise is the "Alpha & Omega" in Sci-fi movies!

Even better than x-men in terms of enjoyment. And not comparing against the source material (comics/manga). In terms of enjoyment, my personal pick for May would be:-

1. Edge of Tomorrow
2. X-Men
3. Spiderman, Godzilla (same level of satisfaction)

I thought movies for the rest of the year will be disappointing as all the anticipated blockbusters of 2014 have been shown... but boy I was wrong.

This movie puts Godzilla/TAS2 to shame and even X-Men barely challenged it. It's like Source Code all over again, but this time perfectly executed and Source Code is not even a bad movie to begin with. Definitely a must watch and so far the best movie of 2014, IMHO.

It's a good rendition of the manga but not enough to say it's successful. At least they didn't flop it and it's fun enough to be entertained.

Just watched this movie.

In my opinion about this movie, yeah, this movie have many action scene etc.
But, I didn't enjoyed this movie much. I dunno why, I feel this movie macam mengarut sangat.

Some part of the movie keep repeat repeat and repeat makes me bored. And that makes me and my sister wanna leave the Cinema hall at that time.

Overall, the movie pack with actions, satisfied with the actions but I don't think it's the best movie for 2014 I guess.

I give 7/10.

*Maybe I didn't read the manga, that's why I didn't enjoyed this movie*.

is this movie worth to watch in 3D?

Is there still 2D? i remembered last year there is still normal, 2D, 3D and Imax. Nowadays I only see normal, 3D or selected Imax. Is 2D no more or what?

so how about the movie? is the movie concluded or a cliff hanger?

This is the best IMAX 3D movie since Gravity IMO. There are quite a few pop out moments especially when debris falls or when the alien jumps towards you.
And it helps that the movie itself is entertaining so yeah, definitely one of the best movies of the year.
