I really think you should avoid the steroids thing.... coz steroids that are used to build muscle in humans causes liver disease and heart attacks and strokes.... you won't want that to happen to your dog rite? Don't take easy way out, just let him eat more proteins like fresh meat, not sausage coz sausages have preservatives and more salt than burgers.... give him fresh chicken and lamb, increase his daily activity with mild short walks and take him for swimming.

what do you think about minced beef ? my girl loves it alot , and i've started giving her fresh minced beef + chicken necks(this thingy is hard to get in seremban wet market) + kidney(occasionally) and some veggie pulp + and kibbles . trying to switch her diet gradually . and mouse , where do you bring your all your babies for a swim ?

and one thing , my girl is in heat (i think, not sure) , and she climbs here and there , superbly hyperactive , and EAT more than usual , even snatches my food . all these are normal or what ?

Wahhh... good good. Get some liver and heart also as it is good too. Beef is good but yesterday I chatted with my friend that beef and chicken is ok but lamb is the best for skin and fur.. so once a while maybe give a bit of lamb, it can improve skin and fur condition.

Oh, I have never brought my dogs swimming yet... coz no place for them to swim in. A few have told me go real early to templer's park or any ponds and let our dogs swim there... but I can't wake up that early eheheh...

On heat, her private part will swell, she will lick and clean herself more... also she can become more manja, wants more attention so maybe your dog is snatching food coz of that heheh...

I tried feeding her chicken liver with kibbles , she picked only those kibbles but not the liver . I will let her try some pig hearts once she's fully switched to BARF.

how much does your lab eat ? my girl is binge-ing , does it have anything to do with the HEAT ? or she's a 'lap sap tung' ?

Hahah... it's Royal Canin... not canine... well, RC is very fattening... if your dog eats royal canin, he might not want to eat other brands again coz it is high in fat and also taste very good to dogs. NurtiEdge got puppy formula, it's called Stage 1, then 1 to 3 years old called Stage 2 and 3 years above eat Stage 3....

Well, slowly. My dogs love liver and heart.

Hmm... my lab eats 2 cups of kibble a day.... we offer her a handful of raw meat, about 100g only coz feed 4 dogs raw meat can PK hehehe.... all labs are lap sap tung long... but when dog's on heat... hmmm... I can't really tell if got good appetite or not coz my lab already spayed for the pass 5 years... then my cavalier female only heat once... so can't compare hehehe...

ya wor , she sniffs sniffs then walks away . didnt know your labbie is already 5 year old . i wonder how my girl will look like when she's 5 year old

26-27kg , she's about 10 months now ....when do they normally stop growing ? any pictures of your lab eh ?

your gal will reach adult size in around 16 months hehehe... nor she will continue to grow... her height will stop at around 12 to 13 months then she will put on more muscle loh ehheeh....

erh ..running wild .. i dont know but fala tends to RUNNNNN as fast as a bullet train when she feels intimidated (ie : you scold her , act like her(jump, head pusing abit , run fast fast) . one of my friends' lab did that when he was a puppy but not so much as a full grown lab now
