hey guys, i got this issue. i rooted my phone and start to play with custom rom. i download one of the CM nightly edition and then flash it and flash the latest GAPP for 4.3. now i couldn't get into the OS and the screen only appear samsung galaxy s3. I tried to go into my recovery but cannot do anything. IT said the device couldn't mount 'data'. can help me?

did you wipe before flash the CM ??

since you can't go into the recovery, can go into download mode (hold home + volume down + power) ?

scared me.. i can go into OS already but i encounter a lot of hanging problem today. I tried to flash different version into my phone but still encounter hang especially when accessing play store. any idea what happened?

one strange thing, when i take out the battery and the battery power show let's say 20% left and then use the phone not long, it hanged again. take out the battery again and put it in and the battery power status increase to 30%.

suggest you do a factory reset and flash again

better rewipe the phone..... <-- may be root of the problem
edit: after wipe (include dalvik cache), then reflash again

using since v23, now on v29. No lag. But with Omega roms I hv experienced lags.

but well. most of us already spoiled by lagfree world of AOSP/CM rom

this is so true.

2 months before, i struggled to find rom that have long battery life and not thinking about the lag. because on that time, i feel leak 4.2.2 is good enough for long battery life and less lag than 4.1.2.

until i try slimbean. now on temasek. since slimbean, i never looking back at sammy rom. maybe i'll give a try if 4.2.2 or 4.3 official release.
