Well, all threads with more than 20 versions are Samsung devices

S2 - 40
S3 - 31
Note 1 - 26
Note 2 - 25
S1 - 23
Galaxy Nexus - 23

Design I don't really care too much. tongue.gif

4.2.2 rom seems have the overheating issue
i flash the sotmax rom, average temperature is about 38++ (it's hot for me, sometimes get 43++)
so i reverted back to 4.1.2...
better wait for official one, may be samsung have not solve some minor bugs yet...

Nice...

Because I am using UltimaROM and before that I came from stock ROM.
Just bought a OTG cable the other day and it failed to detect my microSD card plugged to my card reader.
A forumer on XDA told me that my Kernel doesn't support NTFS??
I can use OTG without issues on stock ROM, not sure if it's the kernel / ROM / software issue or if it's the hardware (OTG) cable issue...

Any ideas guys?

Easiest way is to try another OTG cable or flash back stock rom and see if it works tho...
*
u can try both.... or flash the custom kernel first..
up to u smile.gif
using custom kernel may saving the battery life or increase the performance

Right now I don't even know what kernel I am on. Nandroid backup will back up kernel as well right?
Gotta check what kernel I choose when install UltimaROM, there was a handful of kernels to choose I just use the default...
Yeah my card is NTFS. Will try format to FAT32 and try again later.. if that oso doesn't work there's something wrong somewhere then.. (hope not the OTG cable .. hassle to exchange haihhhh).

I was running good on stock ROM.. u see, this is one of the challenges when use custom ROM  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif one thing doesn't work, a hundred more does hahahah..
*
ya, nandroid will backup everything include kernel..

Why all 4.2.2 make the phone become hot?
*
not all 4.2.2 roms will make the phone overheating
since it's leak, there will have some issue in the roms
so, have to find out urself first for the rom that u like
if dont want to flash 4.2.2, juz use 4.1.2 custom roms
they can be used daily already smile.gif

Yeah..seldom online these days biggrin.gif
CF 6.4..?
Is it the same with CF Auto Root..? CF Auto Root shouldn't have any problem for the new firmware.

Btw..what is your last firmware that have root...4.1.2..?
Why not you flash those 4.2.2 firmware via MobileOdin Pro..?
The app will keep your old root intact no matter what firmware you flash  hmm.gif
*
btw, customer recovery also can be used...

Custom rom normally use zip files hence can use custom recovery for flashing.
Official firmware comes in. tar.md5 files..can be flash via Odin or MobileOdin.
Flash via Odin...you lose root.
Flash via MobileOdin..your root intact.
