Does anyone here have the insane mind to actaully play this online?
The game is a major turteling RTS, not that its bad but most everybody have gotten use to fast paced versions. Have anyone bought the ori and played it yet? I am considering buying the first and second release. |

QUOTE(meetxj9 @ Nov 19 2007, 08:53 PM) Does anyone here have the insane mind to actaully play this online? I play this online, and you'll be surprise that how fast this game can be on a high mid level basis only noobs turtle and able to survive with high level playing you are not able to have the time to turtle and you get owned already, just watch some replays by FunkOff, BlueScreenISU, Unconquerable on sup com live, youbube or Podcast.net to see that an average game is only about 15 minutes - 30 min sometimes 45.The game is a major turteling RTS, not that its bad but most everybody have gotten use to fast paced versions. Have anyone bought the ori and played it yet? I am considering buying the first and second release. However the campaign takes long as they have pre-built building. |

QUOTE(meetxj9 @ Nov 19 2007, 08:53 PM) Does anyone here have the insane mind to actaully play this online? Actually, it only looks that way on paper, since virtually all the base defences own everything on their own tech level. But, what you need to remember about SupCom is this: The speed at which you produce stuff is directly proportionate to how your economy is doing. You could then ask, "Isn't that the same with most RTS'?" The game is a major turteling RTS, not that its bad but most everybody have gotten use to fast paced versions. Have anyone bought the ori and played it yet? I am considering buying the first and second release. Ah, but remember that unlike regular RTS' where the most you can do is build more units at the same time, SupCom ups the ante by actually allowing you to produce units FASTER if your economy can support it. It just goes to show the breadth and depth of the game when you can turtle like mad or rush like a zerg, and still be able to win the battle. Anyway, saw some reviews of FA and apparently they've spruced up the interface and made experimentals cheaper. Yay! |

Yeah now they encourage people to tech instead of russhing T1 I tried the old tactics its immposible to win with T1 rush all you want, but then those mass fabricators are much faster to build.Ah, but remember that unlike regular RTS' where the most you can do is build more units at the same time, SupCom ups the ante by actually allowing you to produce units FASTER if your economy can support it. I feel now they encourage people to tech instead, the old tactics do not work anymore.

got my Forged alliance 2 days ago from ALL IT, very nice i can said.........totally superseed the supcom
they change the interface already, now all the panel looks smaller and more compact, but problem is goin to take time to get used to the interface........ a bit confusing at first....... and now u can use split screen in the middle. most of the unit are same with some addition hi tech units for each faction and u have the seraphium as ur major enemy..... their unit are rather strong...... experimental unit are cheaper now, and Aeon got very good air superiority now with a new tech 3 AA gunship....... and ur commander built much faster but i got a weird problem with my copy, it seems the game does not support 4.1 channel somehow, hopefully got hot fix on it soon anyway, it seems forged alliance have a slightly higher pc requirement, a bit lag on some scene when i playing the 1st mission.... but it is really fun on the first mission. u got swarm and swarm of enemy to take on.... i took UEF on this 1st play and it seems to be a good choice to fully utilize the fat boy long range cannon.... |
