surprisingly my trusty old Pentium 4 2.4 @2.53 (socket 478) with 1 gyg ram + 1600pro agp can run this game at the lowest resolution (1024). I tried skirmish on the smallest map 1vs1ai and it runs pretty well, no lag at all, and then currently in campaign 2 everything seems fine. cpu temp not more than 50deg. I've built hundreds of units too just to test got lag or not, so far so good. hopefully it stays that way since im just started

Wth?My AMD Athlon 64-bit with 1.5GB RAM and 6600GT cant even run the game properly.

If not,i should have bought this game long time ago.

Well my gaming com is really for gaming only and have nothing installed on it other than games but still it lags when its in late game 1 v 1 and my cpu is a C2D E6300.

I finally managed to get some decent MP action for SupCom (Though it was coop against AI) since at least one cafe in subang has it.

Aside from the fact its not patched (At least past the first one with the imba Broadswords and useless Monkeylords), its pretty fun.

Because of that, I replayed the campaign with the latest patch and I've now noticed a new thing about bombers:
They bloody powerful now.

The use of physics bombing means, they can pretty much drop their load way before they reach their target, meaning anti-turrets on their own are not enough to stop them from reaching their target.

So, this means my decision to be a pure air player has just gotten more confirmation tongue.gif

How will this game fare on my 3.2GHz Pentium D with 2Gb memory and 7800 GTX ? I am afraid of the slide-show effect...u know wat I mean.

Is there a way to optimise this game for dual-core processors? I heard this game can use upto four cores... any patch or update?

Also...is anti-aliasing a frame-rate killer in this game?

your rig will crawl in the end.

it always crawl then reaching like later part of the game where there's about 1000+++ units.

Man, the expansion sounds very tempting... I see THQ is really this standalone expansion style first pioneered by Dawn of War. Hell, they look like they're gunning for Blizzard's throne.

I will however look at the unit list first before jumping in. Hope they introduce more air units.

hu hu. UEF T3 Gunship is a killer man. without T3 Sams all over the place, sending a pile of them at some place is devastating.

but seriously, i find the best unit to use so far are the T3 battleships. biggrin.gif damn nice. beats any T3 gunship or siege bots.

usually they're damn hard to reach and damn hard to kill unless you have a bunch of gunships or T3 bombers.

Yeah but then THQ composes of many gaming developers and thus the resources are being devided unlike blizzard where even their patching team is larger than relic's whole team. Thats why for DOW:DC its taking forever to see a patch.

Im accctually hoping for Teleportation and deepstrike into enmy's base for turtle cracking. But I guess long range siege does the job though that takes a long time to do so, and its not accurate.

Which T3 battle ships?Omen Class?Galaxy Class? or Summit Class?

Omen class cant attack air as it has not AA.
