Not all Note2 experience this problem? I googled and can't seem to find posts regarding this issue. I was wondering it possible for Samsung to change a new device for me since it is not a hardware problem? It's annoying when everyone else have no problem with this update but me  sad.gif

Not sure because i prevented updating to begin with. Anyone can help this guy out?

QUOTE(janicekys @ Jul 11 2013, 05:54 PM)
Hi I just got my Note2 few weeks ago and updated my phone. After performing the update, my phone can no longer detect the sim card. Went to warranty my phone and they say its software problem and merely restore it.

Then I tried update again to see if the problem persist and yes now my phone can't detect my sim card again.

My phone's Android version is 4.1.2, never performed any rooting or whatsoever. Anybody experienced this issue?  Does it mean that I can never update my phone? sad.gif

It's possible you have a SIM module problem ie the SIM slot on the phone. It has happened to a small number of people. You need the phone replaced. Go to Samsung Service Center.

Why phone explosions/fires should not make the news
http://www.androidauthority.com/phone-expl...es-news-242240/

.......There will be more and more cases of accidents involving mobile devices. More smartphones hit the market every day and, statistically, that means more accidents. From time to time, posts about them will keep popping up on tech blogs. It’s just important to avoid panicking and blowing incidents out of proportion.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to protect yourself, other than the obvious – don’t use faulty chargers, don’t cover charging devices so heat can’t dissipate, use compatible chargers, use original batteries, and don’t try to fix the device yourself unless you know what you are doing. Check out this article from Gizmodo which explains why batteries, which are often the cause of accidents, explode sometimes, and what you can do about it......

haha don't say like that cause my FB gamer page states that, if wanna play minon rush w/o lagg , switch the speed to 1.6Ghz if u have the custom kernel w CPU control.. and try to do not open data and wifi...
