Any cheaper alternative?

hi all looking for any type of laptop as in

-any brand
-budget rm4-5k
-usage: 24h seeding torrent, streaming, mmo(gw2, tera etc etc) and working(accept all TM sites work(icare prime, icp storm, nova)
-any screen size will do

the laptop must withstand 24h, coz im always seeding my torrent, + im mostly playing online games at night

3. Mostly surf net, downloading, Diablo3 if got time
4. 15inch, light weight if possible

I need advice on a new ultrabook.

Brand: Any except apple
Processor: 4th gen i5/i7
Usage: Daily usage and travel
Screen size: 13.3/14'.
Budget: no limit (if possible would like to know all options)

Yeah, gaming performance depends much on the graphic card anyway, so gaming performance would be more or less similar. However, do take note that Y510p comes with Nvidia Optimus, so you will get slightly more battery life, if tis important to you
You can always downgrade, but its not really advisable as you might have problems finding drivers now, especially for newer laptop models.
And yes, you can swap the HDD with another faster HDD, or even SSD

Newer generation ultrabooks will come eventually, although current ones are actually quite very capable of handling normal, everyday tasks ~

If you can wait, the upcoming XPS13 will probably be the closest contender to the MBA13, as usual haha

Not sure what's the main reason for the slow in terms of update... maybe they are releasing batch by batch, targeting budget consumer units 1st 

waiting for W8.1 (which is mid Oct13), in the case of ultrabook (Haswell ultrabook must have touchscreen according to Intel definition)

looking @ getting the Vostro 5460 i5 with GT630M, now it comes with free external DVD...
1) is it as easy to install windows 7 with a CD via the external drive? (I heard some ppl had problems)
2) Any other recommendation for laptop with :
- 3 yrs warranty
- light weight (2Kg n below)
- Budget : 2.1K

yeah? hmm..  i juz wanna compare it side by side... de nstc gamut and de normal screen... is it really worth fork out 200++ juz for "special" screen..

btw, y de glossy one more expensive than matte? coz if im not mistaken matte screen better than glossy rght?based on previous posts...

hmmm...so good quality glossy and good quality matte? which one better??

personally like matte , on zenbook prime or Samsung series 9 , the matte screen is superb too .

Why I like matte :

1) NO!! reflection
2) Smoother surface
3) Less visible dust (I hate to see dust on my screen)
4) Confortable to my eyes (this depends)
