1 week using stock rom 4.2.2
i can conclude that eventhought
it hve better features,but it is
very lag and buggy.

sony should comeout
with rectification asap

1. disable data nag notification with xposed app (also enabled call recording directly from active call -> 3 dot settings:

^ can choose to flash or use xposed app (recommended to use xposed app as it will not replace your current system files)

2. app setting module (clone of PA prefs, per-app-dpi) (download in attachment):

*** with all these xposed modules there's really no reason to flash AOSP roms anymore since we'll have most of the features from AOSP (basic customizations which should be enough for normal usage) thru all these modules working on stock sony rom

I mean advisable.

Factory reset the phone, you will gaining back the smoothness, it is as smooth as previous 4.1.2 firmware except Album app which lagging.

Wow! That is a lot, later I read and put at main page probably.

You said like this, then is true.

This two things not means the whole phone system is very lag and buggy.

It only happen for Album app and lockscreen - ok la, just some issue on the animated part, it often can't show and direct login.

Album app - Sony did something wrong on it, now I am using leak Honami ROM and the more newer Album app which run perfectly smooth as it suppose, so this is high possible Sony did something wrong on current stock Android 4.2.2 Album App.

Two thing you conclude it is very lagging.

modaco's toolkit got other features too.. but i only enabled 180 degrees as the others i dont use.

i wonder if this is the reason why the music player widget is removed from the lock screen for 4.2.2?

Well the music widget automatically shows up when you playing music (just like iPhone).
So I think still ok?

Sony shall make the widget for WALKMAN compatible with 4.2.2 lockscreen.

By default of 4.2.2, they is no Music Widget like what Sony did last time, and Sony remove it probably need for slide right to access the lockscreen widget.

But Sony can do a separate widget for it.

Also, Sony really need to redo the whole lockscreen, current Sony lockscreen for 4.2.2 is the worst I ever seen/play. It just something not correct, if the 3D flip part not working, then Sony shall remove it and implement with others effect or even stock 4.2.2 which run much perfect.

Tomorrow will check out but I don't think I will use it, I am satisfied with current stock look.

hi, XZ user here since April. This is my 1st smartphone and I'm very happy to choose XZ over Nexus 4. Already upgraded to 4.2.2 an root my XZ.
Just to comfirm, do malaysia XZ set exist?

sorry if this has been mentioned...but after searching to no availability so i decided to ask here..

anyone can find mod to have reboot option in the power menu?...for 4.2.2 (.423) stock rom..

and can we have the home screen or app drawer to repeat..let's say swipe from last page back to first without swiping backwards again...=)

1st one, custom ROM of monx® and niaboc79 support the reboot option feature.

2nd part - no one implement yet except they is a mod of old old old version of it but that person never do anymore.

hmm...some contact bug?
group contacts when assign ringtone...still uses default...
have to manually set all individual contacts in group to its different ringtone.

This is always get on 1st attempt to download every file, it must fail one time first then it will only download succesfully, I find this frustrating.

I wonder why this happened to me, sigh..

can u give me the setting for dpi,font scale n screen(dp) for email n message for app setting

Animation transition still lag sometimes. Never happened in 4.1.2. Is there anyway to do feedback to Sony?
