got my black ZL today...was tempted initially by the red...but black will always be black

where did i say i got red?

astro on-the-go is not compatible with sony?

ya, works on my S2.
then i couldnt find it on play store via phone, checked play store via PC and says not supported.
stadium astro also not supported...zzz.

must be conspiracy samsung pay astro lots of money

hmm...some contact bug?
group contacts when assign ringtone...still uses default...
have to manually set all individual contacts in group to its different ringtone.

the red is very tempting when i held it.
but the finishing is like the white, smooth metallic looking plastic for the back.
if it had the grippy texture of the black, sure i'll be having a red right now.

i would also guess all the red go to sony store first since its not easily available worldwide.

exactly what color is the notification light suppose to be for diff situations?
i read missed call / sms ppl say blue got, green got...mine is white.
and no way to set the color except use 3rd party app right?

but my stamina mode isnt on.
in fact, i never use stamina mode.
and it still blinks white on sms received.

also can anyone tell me what the logo beside the 3G means?
i dont seem to find it in the manual.

k, stupid it is.
when on mobile data, it dissapears.
at least show green arrow or something to replace the red X...sony designer needs to be shot

great...now my notification light gone mad.
while charging its now showing green instead of orange...batt also not yet full.

no need LTE la, eat battery only.
unless you stream alot of 1080p videos, even then also eat battery

i looked at butterfly also, but 2 things drew me to ZL.
1. it has physical camera button, 2. it is not htc
also Z/ZL is the first non-nexus model to get 4.2.2 upgrade.

anyway, if want to buy ZL from sony store...go to the one utama one...only RM1499 after trade-in old phone...
if got no phone to trade-in also can get RM1499 which is what i got...just talk to them abit.
i went sony store in ikano, completely diff promo...RM100 less off RM1899 only.
this is what happens when sony appoints different dealers to handle sony stores, but arent consistent with promos.

i dunno if the deal still on, but i didnt bring any phone to trade-in...the guy say he'll settle it for me.

well, u obviously dont have the tools to clean it urself...so warranty is the only choice.

and afaik, any black dots that appear on images are not dust / particle on lens as they will appear blurry or usually not seen if on the lens.
it is very likely on the sensor itself, how it got there is a mystery tho.

nope.
which is kinda stupid, as you can launch the camera via the physical shutter button also.
i wish can set so left or right launches nothing at all, but just unlock too.

mine is 1270-1854, which apparently is malaysian.
