QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 8 2013, 05:27 PM) i wonder if this is the reason why the music player widget is removed from the lock screen for 4.2.2? Well the music widget automatically shows up when you playing music (just like iPhone). So I think still ok?

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 12 2013, 04:53 PM) Read 1st page, information there for apps data. As for message, I never backup, not important for me. But you can try using My Backup Pro. Actually Sony itself also got such tools inside Xperia Z but I notice it is not different firmware compatible, at least it not working for backup under 4.1.2 move to 4.2.2 Yup, notice it not compatible with different firmware. I flashed to new firmware and found that cannot restore. Have to reflash back to old firmware, restore, flash to new firmware without erase any data, backup again.

QUOTE(suadrif @ Jul 12 2013, 05:30 PM) titanium backup require root and not all user want to root their device, especially girls and oldies yes i know its in the first page but my 3 years of experience using android, it never have full backup function From Google Store regarding on App Sync & Backup: Note: Some Sony devices have issues with Helium. This includes the Xperia S and Xperia Z. Sony has *disabled* backup on these devices completely.thats why i ask, how did you all backup your device. for some user, factory reset is really undesired. I am searching for similiar apps also, but now still using Sony own backup & restore. Although a bit troublesome when upgrade firmware, at least it can backup my contacts, SMS, call logs.

Finally flashed with monxDIFIED ESSENTIAL i1 rom. The UI really smooth now, more fluid animation, cleaner and simpler.
However I notice that its home launcher cannot create folder? I always organize my apps into some folder to keep my home launcher as less pages as possible.
EDIT: Stupid me, I was in Alphabetical categories, switch to Own order and it's back.

Mind to share the possible solution? EDIT: Just saw you already shared it, my eye scan skill too weak. Btw, just got Movie and Video unlimited OTA updates. QUOTE(soonlee33 @ Aug 17 2013, 09:27 PM) How come the flash affects the pic 1 at low light area? Lol Are you using some protection case? I read somewhere that some of the protectioncase will cause flash diffusion, thus causing the similar effect to the picture you shown.

QUOTE(soonlee33 @ Aug 18 2013, 12:28 AM) Yea bro I'm using a flip case lol another thing, do u guys feel that pic quality seems to be High noise under low light? Well yeah, to be honest, the low light performance on Xperia Z is not that good. But I wouldn't say it is that bad, as I also seen other digital camera also perform in similar (noisy and less detail). Don't compare it with Lumia 920, that thing is in different level. Do remember to change to Scene mode > night scene/night portrait. These scene mode should be able to capture better low light picture compared with auto/standard.

Wow the Lenovo camera app is much better. More control option, better image quality, and easier to use interface too. Sony really need to put more effort on this.
