anyone on AOSP rom?

got any difference with the AOSP camera vs the stock camera with BE2?

should add in xposed app and appsetting module as well, brings in the "paranoid android" feature on stock sony rom (no need AOSP )

You used xposed app before?

It wont affect the original file. It morphs your setup/mods and apply to the appropriate apk files.
Once you disable it, it goes back to normal.

But not every xposed module is compatible tho..
In xda xperia z themes/app thread, got 1 module to disable the "data has been disabled" nag notification ..very useful

It brings most of the stuff on aosp/aokp/pa/cm to stock

I see, I set camera albums every 12 hours, whatsapp media daily, screenshots weekly.

1. disable data nag notification with xposed app (also enabled call recording directly from active call -> 3 dot settings:

modaco's toolkit got other features too.. but i only enabled 180 degrees as the others i dont use.

are you planning to make EVERYTHING small scaled? including the system?
if yes:

1. download any root explorer
2. navigate to system/build.prop -> edit it (make sure its r/w)
3. scroll to the bottom and find the line with "ro.sf.lcd_density = 480" change the value to 360
4. save and exit -> reboot

(note: if you are paranoid/phobia, just do a nandroid backup.. incase you misunderstood the step)

messaging = 320DPI, 600x1024, tablet
calculator = 480DPI, default reso. no tablet
calendar (my preference) = 240DPI, 600x1024, ticked "tablet"
google play = 240DPI, 800x1280, tablet
chrome/aosp browser = 360DPI, 600x1024, no tablet (chrome might need to tick)
gmail = 360DPI, 800x1280, tablet

save it/force stop/start the app again.. then it should change

your dialer will be off-position a little (unless you dont mind) but you can install ex-dialer, its a much better dialer compared to stock (and closest to sony's experience with a little added features/shortcuts)

got any app to enable tapping to unlock? saw the thread on XDA but it was reported as buggy.

what's your appsetting module version?

im running 0.0.9 (i guess mine's the old version)


anyway, just set the resolution -> save then force stop the app -> restart the app, and see if its changed to tablet mode.

:: i think its replaced with "xtralarge.." ?

yea, im hoping it would be ported over as well.. no need to always press the power button. hehe.

yea, 1 thing i like about sony is that even those smaller requirements from the smaller audience = they also listen

other brands they only focus what the major market wants..

sony balances it.

unlocking bootloader is 1 example dy.. not everyone wants to unlock, but they still allow it (legally in a way) for the smaller audience. haha

but to bear in mind it'll be changed to google tablet version, you might or might not like it.

for me im fine with it. as tablet mode of the browser brings in more icons to gain "control" over the app.

if the app doesnt support tablet mode, it doesnt.

for browser, only chrome and aosp browser works (for tablet mode).. so far.

you got app setting module? got change value and save?
