Red Comet in PG might be able to give pointers. Maybe modelland workshop too. But I think the 3 shops I normally go in PG have friendly staff that would help if you ask question about gundam/airbrush.
Red Comet - Prangin Mall Modelland Workshop - Near 1st Avenue. (not sure what is the name of the area). gwinghobby - Prangin Mall and Bukit Gambir.

Hi all, finally got time and resources to pickup this hobby again after dropping out for 15 (or more) years. Lost touch with all the supplies shop. Was looking for spray can, enamel paint, acrylic paint & etc, I wonder where most of you shop for these supplies? Been to a few places (physical shop), most of them have very limited color choices or don't have stock when they show the listing as 'available' (e-shop). Very frustrating and yet time wasting. I rather spend time with building kit instead... Do shine some lights on a newbie here.
Apology if it's been asked before. I've made some searches but can't find relevant answer.

PS: I'm around Kota Damansara/PJ area.
since the new regulation regarding spray can... we hardly find any new stock around. mostly use hardware spray which is cheaper and easy to find like bosney. some went to use paint brush. stock mostly i get from time machine or some online seller here on garage sales. also some of the toolkit can be found on the garage sales.

those cheap spray cans aren't good if you plan to do multi coat. the new coat tend to crack up the old one even if you mist coat it 1st when you start to wet coat it it has 20% chance of cracking especially at the corners. The ones i used cost between rm8-rm16, so maybe the more expensive ones don't have this problem.

Ignore the chrome silver but this stand uses cheap diy shop black spray can... without any washing or base coat...
best part is, not crack or peel off... even its a bootleg stand...

well all art knife the same aside from ultrasonic knife, but for the quality choice would be olfa, and all those line scribe knife were used by the japanese hobbyist before they were rebranded by hobby makers and sell them high price
so as long as other tool serve the same purpose, it is pointless to pursue hobby maker branded tools

what so unique about that knife? Say compare to OLFA art knife?
no differences just your own learning curve on mastering the skills with whatever tools you have
