Anyone can recommend what Bosny gold to use for Inner frame (Momoko SF). I am planning to get 18KT gold effect from Bosny but they have different gold shade to choose from.

It's either called Pledge Future Floor Finish/Floor Care/Floor Shine/Floor Wax but they have the same bottle shape & cap. or just ask the Ace employees there. ![]() This post has been edited by advocado: Mar 13 2017, 12:26 AM |

QUOTE(SiewKaiz @ Mar 13 2017, 09:20 AM) hi, wanna ask is it possible to paint > top coat > panel line >top coat or just paint > panel line > top coat? depends what paint & type of panel line you are using.i just started and build my new first model if you use gundam marker, water type (thicker tip) works better on painted acrylic easier to rub off, oil type marker (thinnest tip) cannot be wiped off and you will clog your marker very fast. if you using enamel wash (diluted black enamel paint), then you need to use lacquer paint, then a gloss coat to make the surface slippery so you can easily drop the enamel paint it will flow into the seam lines and wait a while let it dry up a bit you can easily wipe off the excess. once fully dried you can spray a top coat of your choice. the gloss coat helps the panel line flow and makes it easier to wipe off the excess. most people probably have acrylic based paints so enamel wash is not an option. best bet is paint a thicker coat of paint and use a marker (or super fine mechanical pencil if you don't mind grey lines) or a HD 7B or 8B pencil, and be ultra careful when doing the lining, with thicker paint, you can scrap off the panel line excess with a pen knife (carefully & gently). with pencil it's difficult to keep it clean unless you wear a glove and do not touch finished panel line until you top coat them. a final top coat should always be done after you finished everything. also if you spray parts by parts, make sure the paint are not too thick if not will affect your fittings. |

Wet Spray). This wet layer will fix the rough / misty layer and gives great clear chrome reflective surface. the chrome powder is quite expensive around rmb45 for 3ml. if u asking for clear gloss finish for chrome ..i think the result already shown in the 1st of the photo. ![]() This post has been edited by limfreelance: Mar 17 2017, 07:51 PM |

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Mar 17 2017, 07:49 PM) no idea. i have the powder from JS hobby, i'm asking why in the comparison the chrome is less shiny than the others sprayed with semi-clear paint?i do go TAOBAO & search for the item & review...but mostly the result of the user r not as shine as the picture shown. the result of the object finished is like the STEP 5 of the photo. ![]() so the thread emphasized that the STEP 6 is very importance- Last Step – Apply the Wet Layer Once the powder is sealed, spray with more paint and low PSI (a.k.a.
