for Altera, I would say most of the project technology has been fixed. normally you have to do whatever needed with the company best know practice. it's like you have to do it their way kind of thingy. I am not really sure about Altera soft dept. any guys from Altera? please advice.

and someone said Intel is another good choice.. why? look at the share price... ~USD19

if im not mistaken intel is the onli company which offer stock option (0.7unit==700 stocks!!!) FOC totally!!!
altera 1 is onli stock purchase option..stil need $$$ man...

Unless it's the IT dept you'll probably be doing a lot of C++, Perl and the like.

Hello....Altera also giving stock option, even more unit than Intel. Last time intel give 750 unit, altera give 1200 unit. but now both company had reduced the amount. altera also have stock purchase. and mid of this year, altera is offering RSU too.

if EE student heard about altera, i will be FPGA going in their mind

btw altera seem a nice month salary i see there, but how about bonus??? usually how much they give to u

i put an example..if u work with petronas, 1 month rm2.5K..but every year..they give bonus 4 month to 6 month bonus..

it means u get rm 10k minimum..so, bonuses sappose to be within ur consideration

btw i also looking a place in altera...need to complate my final year project and convince my lecturer to recommend me
