Hi !
few monts ag I was studying in france and I bought a iphone 5. I am now back in Malaysia but my phone is lock on Orange france carrier. where can i go to unlock it, and how much will it cost for it ? thanks a lot ! Brad |

IINM, Orange does provide unlock for their iPhone.
Before asking here, have you tried to request Orange to unlock for you? |

Well, there are "methods" to unlock your iPhone5 to be used with Malaysia carrier. But you are so out of luck for iPhone5
1. Ultrasn0w - Not supported for iPhone5 2. Gevey Sim Unlock - Not supported for iPhone5 3. SAM Unlock Ticket - Exploit closed 4. Factory Unlocked or IMEI based unlock method: Your last method. I'll not provide the link here. Google yourself |

Hey there, is there anyone using Maxis carrier and with iOS 7 beta that could connect to LTE network? I have been to LTE coverage area however it doesn't seem to be connecting to LTE, just 3G network instead.
I have contacted with Maxis and they say that my SIM is LTE enabled.  |

One bad about iPhone 5... the aluminium area surround the edge iphone 5 there's a small hole... dust may always go in there and cannot be remove... very annoying when you see something inside

Hey guys, looking for some help here.
I am using UniFi at home and the router and modem are in my room upstairs. When I use my Iphone5 can connect it to wifi, I won't be receiving signals from downstairs of my house or very weak signal. Right now even when I'm sitting right infront of the router with my Iphone 5, it can be connected with a strong signal. However sometimes the connection is not stable and my whatsapp will show "connecting.." and Instagram can't load pictures for example. Only after refreshing for a few times only can. But when the connection is okay it is fast when i use in my room. Is there a problem with my phone? Because I don't have connection issue using my laptop upstairs or downstairs. Besides this, my Iphone 5 can only be connected to the wifi at home. When I try to connect to wifi in hotels or even McDs, it says "unable to join network". Any idea what is happening to my phone sifus? Thank you. |

Why some of the apps in iPhone 5 although stay in background but when you open it but look like you never open before. It's inactive/suspended in the background |

just sharing my experience. bought ip5 back in january. then saw xperia z. sell and bought xperia z. just for 1 week +, kenot go edi. felt like gila without my apps. mostly photo editing. then bought ip5 back. nuting cant beat iphone's app. best in universe

i just realised that once your iphone is fully charged (with the plugged in icon) and you disconnect it immediately and leave it, you'll get a longer battery life, and the phone will remain 100% for 8 hours with both wifi and bluetooth on.

Yesterday, some seller told me no stock. By telco and apple. They have to get the stock from other seller. But the price for 16gb 2190 increase become 2260. Because of no stock everywhere and they take opportunity increase the price. Yeah business rite. |

i drop my iPhone 5 into toilet, it fully submerged for like at least 1 sec or so, the screen is still on while i drop it, and its still on after i took it out of the water and the touch screen is still responsive, so atm i think im the lucky one and i leave my phone there for few mins, after that when i look into my phone, the screen turn into purple with pink with pixel thingy. then only i turn it off. now its sitting in a air tight container filled with uncooked rice. will my phone survive this?

Hi, i have a few months old ip5 which still on warranty. I have this problem where my phone battery is badly drained even when i was sleeping. Everything is perfectly well except for this matter. Is it possible to claim warranty for this problem?

I dont really know the definition of battery drain.
But here how I check if there is a problem with battery. I will charge it in the evening, slightly overcharged before sleep and then disconnect it to drain for the night for around 7-9 hour sleep. In the morning, if the battery indicates about 94-98%, it should be pretty healthy. This way can ensure no other work on the phone which is affecting the battery drain. Apps in the background usually wont drain much power. I had warhammer quest or infinity blade in the background but I dont see much drain. Even cellular data on also would not pose a problem. Maybe you can list out what apps you were using. |

well, this is weird.
i got 2 devices, both device under same iCloud account, both in sleep mode, both connected to same wifi, both with location services on with Find my iDevice service. but when i try to find my idevice, i can only locate my ipod, but i cannot locate my iphone as it says "offline". Data is turned off, tho. Scared weih! |

Anyone know if blue color iMessage will have charges or not when sending these messages?? |

wifi uses battery quite a lot on standby. make sure u remember to turn it off.

Guys, recently i feel like my iphone 5 is warming while 3g is on for browsing purpose. I checked the battery temperature and it shoot up to 40 degree celsious @.@ I didnt play game just web browsing and instagraming >.<

Guys is this normal??? My I5 battery life is horrible, i can only get 4 hours out of it. I only use it to play clash of clans or minion rush when i have the time, like in LRT or during break. How many hours you all can get from ur i5?

got my iphone 5 power button repaired at iphone2fix instead of sending it for warranty...overall statisfication 100% but somehow warranty voided
complain got dust at camera after repaired and they dissembled the phone again for me just to clear the dust |

Just got iPhone 5 for a week. Still using 3g celcom not lte. Battery life horrible. Previously using iPhone 4 and Galaxy nexus. Battery life on iPhone 4 is better.

Guys my iphone 5 quite often the screen wont go to sleep even though it been set to go off after 1 minute. Many times i must press lock button to turn it off. Anyone experiencing this bug???

planning not to update current ios 6 any further. will stick to ios 6 forever for my iphone 5. probably would buy new iphone 5s or maybe 5c orrrr maybe an ipod touch to test out ios 7.

Need help here
My iphone5 is using digi 3g prepaid internet and have no problems with loading youtube videos before. But just 3 weeks ago it started to hang with my 3g connections whenever I'm using heavy data traffic (even loading a short youtube video or facebook images). The problem is like this, the phone will load everything normally until suddenly there's no more data transfer, the 3G logo is still there and it will try to load forever. I have to disable and enable Cellular Data to get my internet connection back, it's really annoying since I can't use youtube or facebook anymore. If I'm using wifi there's no problem at all, just this 3G on digi. Anyone have the solution? |

They will make sure the problem cannot be solve n u will get replacement which is refurbished set. But u need to wait for warranty claim as i heard now heard to get. |

But when i open lte it only shows 3g sign.. No lte? Why is that? Im staying at subang jaya and i thought it is supported? Or should i do something first? Im using ios7 beta 5 now Oh and also i changed to a cheaper plan but still it still more than 2gb internet |

I just wish Google could make it easier for developers by coming out with a more robust Android OS, perhaps they need to even build from the ground up (seriously!). |

Hi all, i suspect my iphone 5 seems to be having some minor wifi connection issue;
1. but only when connect to office internal wifi (need special pass&login), it will disconnect soon after auto lock. 2. when connect to house wifi (unifi) can have stable connection, no disconnect. my other frens in office using samsung all have stable connection, will not disconnect. i compare to my ipad mini..tested with my office wifi, even after sleep the wifi still connected even after lock sleep. should i send for warranty? |

i knew that iphone will auto off the wifi connection after lock and will auto connect once unlock

I bought my iPhone last week and there seems to be problem with the 3G connection. I called the service centre and they asked me to bring the phone for the technicians to check and if it's really the phone's problem, they will do 1 to 1 replacement but it will take about 5-7 working days and I have to surrender my existing iPhone to them. I don't have any spare phone to use and now this happens, so frustrating.
Problem with the 3G is that when the signal is lost for maybe few minutes, it will not reappear again. Only solution is to restart the phone. Not even airplane mode helps. Hopefully it's just a software problem and ios7 fixes it. |
