Same problem on me...that nub marks is hard to destroy althouth i sand with 2000 sand paper...that why i am thinking paint to cover the white dot..
May b is my skill problems,...may i know u guys using what types cutter ? i use normal cutter..for wire purposely and normal art knife and some water type sand paper..from 800 to 2000
I also use normal art kinfe, RM5 from Daiso... Hobby cutter RM10-20 should do the job well, a small file set, and tamiya sandpaper grit 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200(from I started this hobby till now haven't finish), normal sandpaper should be fine, but might not able to do wet sanding. So just get sandpaper that can do wet sanding with appropriate grit.
I long time no do OOB so can't remember well how I actually remove nub mark, but as I know the darker tone or white mark on plastic kit is due to the stress when you cut the pieces from the gate. So cut out the piece with small force applied and try not to bend it during cutting, you can either leave a long sprue or cut it near to the piece which leave a tiny nub marks.
I can't really explain, you just need to do more training then you will get the right method for yourself, my methods might not work for other people but work for me. Cheers...
