wow so many... that's mean average 1-2 months one application per credit card?

nowadays if ur ccris no record more than 1-2 yrs hard to apply new cc , thats what i heard from my banker friends..

but how if u have 5 years record of hire purchase and credit card and you choose to pay off one lump sum to your hire purchase and cancel your 5 years credit card, hence, ur ccris record won't have any records of ur past 5 years hire purchase and cc...

and u start to apply cc .. after they check in ur ccris it's clean and...

any idea? or bank can check records for ccris even though ur hire purchase been cancel or they will have records for past few years even though u cancel your cc? hmm...

I received this SMS too. I had to call about 2-3 times to cancel both my RHB CCs( Travel Money and Visa Signature). The last time I called, one of their reps did a report for me and said that they will proceed to cancel the card. But now when I check via RHBonline, both cards are still there and I received the same SMS too today. Does this mean that my card is still actually active?

always a good practice to terminate CC thru black and white.

but you posted you called to terminate? 

once you have black and white, it is easier to follow up.

I see. I mean write in to terminate CC is better than calling. In that way, when the bank fail to do as per instructed, can just forward that email/letter/fax to a higher authority/department 

I have cancelled my RHB platinum card few months ago. But i check my credit report from BNM, it still in my record.

Should i call RHB or BNM to clarify this?

first i go to my home branch got the letter of cancellation and the officer and me sign on it

second i call hotline number ask CS to speed up the cancellation cause i told her i will check my CCRIS report next month

received call from her and she stated email to relevant department

next month i check after 15th no more record on CCRIS

although rhb cc is one of the least benefits for me to use, but i must say that the rhb staff who signed me up is the most extraordinary guy i have ever met for a cc agent.

1) he gave me a xiaomi 10k mah powerbank on the spot during sign up
2) he couriered me a samsonite backpack after i signed up 2 rhb cc and swiped once each
3) when i told him i prefer another colour for the backpack, he came all the way to my place to exchange it for me
4) when i told him i can't do online banking as i can't set up my phone with the cc at rhb atm, he came all the way to my place and he brought the thumb print machine and nric machine to scan and print it for me to sign on the spot, so that he can submit for me to the hq
5) when i dropped/lost my cc and the cc was used by someone at 3 petrol stations amounted to rm200, i lodged a police report and disputed the amount to rhb but was later rejected by rhb to absorb the amount, i told him and surprisingly, he deposited his own rm200 to my cc to solve it
6) when i refused to get a replacement card for the lost cc as i need to pay for it, he said he will request a replacement card without charge for me
7) when i complain that it's troublesome to set the sms notification for every transaction, he said he will request for it to be done at his end

what rhb privilege? i cant find in their web?

IC... thanks.. BTW, is the rebate policy has been changed for RHB EVO cc? the rebate for this month statement will be in on next statement? previously same month statement will be credited ald one.. 

Anyone recently apply for RHB Platinum card ??

The income requirement for this card is RM60k or RM48k ??

But RHB website now is showing RM60k by the way

I have just called the CS to cancel my Platinum card. Of course she asked for reasons and I mentioned about paying the annual fees in my next statement.
She said that if a Platinum cardholder able to spend more than RM36K perannum, then the annual fees will be waived automatically. If below RM36K, then the cardholder needs to call the CS to waive it manually.
So I will call again after I have received my statement and see how it goes!
