RM0 RHB: Oh no! Your Online Banking access has been disabled. Re-register now at https://logon.rhb.com.my to continue your online banking activities with us.

First time receiving this SMS. I can login to app and online banking though. Anything I missed out?

Scam? Is it from their regular numbers? 66300 and another one.

Edit : Suspicious enough. If disabled, there is nothing to re-register. Just need to re-enable.
*
Yes their regular no. 66300 and the link also goes to their website (though I didn’t use it to login).

I sent a secured message over RHB online, asking about SST rebate.

They replied me this:

Thank you for your message to RHB Bank

Further to your concern, we have raise recommendation for RM25 cashback to be given to your credit card account. Kindly take note the fulfillment period is within 2 statement cycle.

Should you require further assistance about other RHB banking products & services, you may send another message and we would be glad to assist you.

Thank you for using www.rhbgroup.com

What are the chances to get it? laugh.gif 2 statement cycles means 2 months later? sweat.gif

I hardly used my RHB Shell Visa after I got it last year as I was focusing on other cards. Didn't even swipe minimum for AF waiver, I didn't realize this until I saw the AF charged to my card. I dropped them a message on RHB Online and AF waiver was granted with no question asked or condition applied.

Since PBB has removed its CB for e-wallets, time to focus back on RHB. tongue.gif

Hi guys, I just got offered this cash xcess programme with 0% interest. I'm curious what does the bank gain from this? Its like borrowing money to us and expecting no returns. Only need to pay back the same amount in the said tenure.
*
They are expecting you to fail in payment, then they can gain interest from there. However, smart users will not allow this from happening. smile.gif But is it really 0%?
I remember RHB has another program of 0% not sure what is it called, for new customers. I hope I didn't mix up with other banks.

Need to check got processing fee or not.

If you miss payment then they expect some returns. There are always people who cannot hold on to money
*
Yes, that's why I feel that it is not really 0%.

Apply again with new campaign, 1 week still no response.

Went to branch, got approved in 3 days.

Also somehow i got 3 cards. Anyone knows the credit limit is separated or combined? If separated can i combine it if i only plan to use 1 card
*
Combined if all from the same entity i.e. conventional or Islamic.

Today was my first time receiving calls from RHB to remind me about payment. My due date is only on Friday. Honestly, I don’t appreciate such calls and I told them not to call me again next time as I will set reminders to make payments.

Is this something new from RHB?

I think so. Today is my second time in as many months. Of course, I told them it's risky to verify myself to incoming calls from numbers unknown to me. This personnel was better that he was willing to disclose the reason he called. Last month's was unwilling.

It's ok lah, sometimes people do forget to pay and then ask for interest waiver.
*
Yes, need to verify myself. You call me and I need to verify myself, it is stupidity. doh.gif
At least mine told me why he called me.

QUOTE(contestchris @ Aug 9 2023, 09:12 PM)
I kena last time told them off. Buggers were getting me to verify myself padahal they called me
*
Exactly.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Aug 10 2023, 09:14 AM)
Surprising, my due date tomorrow and they haven't call. If they call I will ask them to fix their stupid new website which doesn't allow schedule payment to own CC unlike to other bank CC.
*
Better don't call, it is annoying.

Just received another call. Guy got pissed off after I asked him what is it about before I answer verification questions and asked me call their hotline. Hung up before i could say anything. Maybe I should blast him like you guys did
*
Same. I told him don't call me again. I'm annoyed. Not even due yet.

I just used Shell Visa to pay Jompay >RM 2.5k, can I now reload RM 1000 to eWallet to get RM 50 cash back? Sorry, I'm confused as I hardly use RHB cards or any cash back cards these days. laugh.gif

RM 1000 eWallet top up + further RM 1500 spend. (To earn cash back of RM 50 from your eWallet top up.)

So can the JomPay included as the RM 1500 spend?

Yupe. Can.

If you using Jompay to pay utilities bills, then you're sharing the cashback quota of RM 50.

Thanks. Mine is an insurance payment.

What is the best way to get AF waiver? I remember calling the CS was like finding a unicorn, difficult to get CS. I used the old website and I can leave messages, now only certain questions can ask live CS or I need to leave email. Is this the best way?
