My suggestion for gaga owner exhaust setup. Note this is my own personal preference and trial and error. You may have your own preference also.
For MT or AT Swap the stock header to a 4-2-1. 4-1 is not practical for low to mid rev range use. Because on normal driving your RPM is around 2.5K RPM Swap out the Mid box for a bullet or a better mid box. My stock mid box gave up less than 1 year. I didn't go claim... The rear muffler just change to a better flowing S- Flow. Inlet pipe size recommend 1.7 inch max 2 inch. For MT some would opt for straight flow but the drone from the exhaust will make you deaf inside the car and your passenger will have hearing loss also. Piping size please maintain the stock size, as mostly we are doing light tune or light mod. You are freeing up trap horsepower not making more. Unless you strap in a turbo kit or supercharger then only you upgrade the piping size. I've posted some guide on on choosing the headers you can go back to the previous posting and check On the other hand, for reference purposes, FLX MT gear linkage section. The gear linkage and the parts around it seems fragile to me. It's all rigid plastic. Not sure will break easily if apply with too much force. Also they did change the Nylon coupling and the spring on the recall issue... ![]() This post has been edited by TitanRev: Jul 3 2013, 01:28 PM |

Most performance cars like Evo, STi, Type R FD2, they use 7.5J Some stock rim also at 7.5J already. The J means how long the flange is. IINM
