Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Juz chk-ed User Manual Pg 52...
States Fuel shld b RON 95 OR HIGHER...

So...can our Gagas enjoy RON 91..? rclxub.gif
*
must check this out. but in my understanding MOST cars except those with very high compression rates and meant for racing can use Ron91 and above.

Just check Singapore. They have Ron 92, 95 and 98 on sale. And most of their cars are the latest in the market.

in Thailand, Unleaded Premium is Ron95 and it is expensive like hell. Gasohol is Ron95. and they have Ron91. Car rental company in Phuket recommended I pump Ron91 only for the Vios I rented last 2 years ago when I was in Phuket.

In America there is stil Ron88 or 89..forgot liao....

My honest opinion, Malaysian drivers have been cheated to use high Ron for nothing.... only because korupland gomen want to increase price they phase out Ron92 and come out with Ron95 with of course immediate price increase! Then feed us with propoganda that Ron97 is premium so all of us pay ridiculous prices for our expensive petrols.

It is not really ~ as u can see nowadays our car's compression ratio was set above 8.0:1 hence minimum acceptable rate for RON is 95 with AKI 90 minutes ~ ... or else have to add variable valve timing, knock sensors to delay ignition timing to protect our engine ~

and It is possible to manufacture gasoline engines with compression ratios of over 11:1 that can use 87 (MON + RON)/2 (octane rating) fuel with the addition of variable valve timing and knock sensors to delay ignition timing. Such engines may not produce their full rated power using 87 octane gasoline under all circumstances, due to the delayed ignition timing.

So that is why i said higher RON is better especially for stock engine ~
*
thats where our ecu and knock sensors come in the picture.

thats why in Thailand there is stil Ron91.

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif
Campro 1.3L has compression ratio of 10:1  tongue.gif

Probly dat's why by using RON 97 or a mix of 95/97 gives a smoother (?) & quieter (?) engine...?  whistling.gif

So if Govt changes 95 to 91, a similar mix wld help our stock Campro...?  hmm.gif

ps. Since 97 price drop, me hv started mix of roughly 3 parts 95 with 1 part 97...
Any Bro has tried similar mixes?
Pls share...TQ!!  notworthy.gif

i just happenned to pump Rm30 Vpower Racing and topped up with Ron95.

Yes as per mengsuan point out. Can cheat RON by adding after market OCTANE. A bottle usually around RM20, can treat up to 20 gallons(around 75litres), which is 2.5 tanks. When I use, I'll do 3 tanks straight, but with less efficient way, cause I did it with less OCTANE mixture so I can extend the usage to 3 tanks instead of 2.5 tanks.
Do you FUELLY.COM?
Bro, what is the RON rating in NGV? And what's with your drivetrain?

May I molest PoPi next time? Will take the usual heat at Kesas + MRR2 stretch until Tasik Selatan and back to Sri Petaling? Ayam really curious about your complains between CBT and your current double clutch
Don't be, for your own good nia. I wish I had not lecture you and let you meet an unfortunate before you learn. However, I think sometimes a MISTAKE is a TOO LATE situation for someone to learn. Sandy place is very dangerous, you wouldn't know when the car will loose traction, let alone the car is not yours. Btw, you have not remind me the thing, as I left it inside the car doh.gif

Few things I learnt from my friend in Jakarta when I pay him a visit 2 years ago:
1) Who teach them to do this?
2) Who owns the company that doing this?
3) Who is planting the palm trees at the burnt area?
4) Burning forest can simply means adding natural fertilizers
5) Indo is currently 1 of the major supplier for man made palm oil diesel, namely BIOSOLAR. Again, who are the owners?

They're just following instruction to make a living. Their tauke teach them to do so, and so they did whistling.gif My political view is very shallow nia, so no need to open debate on this. Moreover, it's international political issue that involves 2 countrys, but the consequences (haze from open burning) had to be suffered by the whole world.

firstly, I have not tried fuelly. the fuelly i use is a small 555 booklet which I will note down my refueling details and mileage. maybe should try high tech but so far I get 13 + kms per litre..

octane boosters too ex la... our Ron95 more than enough for our engines..... anyway I have checked my Kawasaki super bike also recommends Ron91 Unleaded and above. Maybe due to the fact my Kawasaki is manufactured in Thailand,.... hmm

the only reason I pumped Vpower Racing was to redeem my Bonuslink points as some are about tk expire this end of the month, so since I never see my money going to actually buy the Rm30 worth of Vpower Racing, so why not pamper my car a bit..... very little bit.... and it got me 9litres plus of blue juice.... damn I like to see the blue petrol.... and topped it up with ron95.

hai but living and working down south, the haze is really choking us...

irregardless of whose fault it is.... we are coughing clean air.....and breathing smog haze....

I like the Toyota coolant too... blood red in colour and it even cleans up the rust in your radiator... just try changing 2 or more times if your radiator has got rust problem....

somehow.... adding sv to the tag doesnt leave a good after taste....

after all it is a rip off....

no offence to those who bought it, the intentions are for Proton.....

instead of coming up with the sv rip off, they could have gave prospective FLX owners a discount or an upgrade package for an affordable price.

instead the tear down the FLX and come up with sub value....
