so when is open beta?

Anyhow thank you for replying to the rest.
To address this issue, i mention i just started reading this thread on friday... this is on v7 and why am i bothered with reading 7 thread of a beta game when usually the 1st page addresses almost all the issue
I am not underestimating this game cus it is beta... it is just that tons of stuff have been updated, reading the latest few pages should have been sufficient to keep me updated with the current development
TS has been extremely good with addressing almost all the issue


This is just a game and it is time to move on, all this reason~ personally i have gone through all of them lol
Been told "This is just a game bro", "Dont push ur ideal on people bro" but all this excuses... extremely lame from my pov.... Before u start a conquest or raid, sure la question was asked. When u dont say u duno(prideful creatures).... hw the hell everyone else will be aware of you being in a different frequency. Just admit u are new la haha, makes thing easier. I think i didnt mention, the guild i was in was semi-hardcore.... which is why.. there are over 60 to 80 players around 2 25man team (5 to 10 members on standby for swapping) to clear the instance Unlike other guilds, there are only 3 raiding days instead of 4 because core members consist mostly of married man and raidint time should b 8/8.30 to 12 is it i cant rmb but sometime have to to till 2am ><. Not expecting to be realm 1st la... but at least can keep up with the top ma..
I think i am at fault for not mentioning it was semi-hardcore, and u think this is just some casual guild with the mentality to just clear for fun...
Let me explain alittle about the terms. As for hardcore is for those guild who actually take leave and spend 10+hrs wiping a day (like Taiwan Stars), got many alts geared ready to take up any role and anything that actually contributed to the game. For semi-hardcore, not expecting the same as those hardcore people as i am well aware there are real live commitment but asking for 50% of it would be fair. If u are expecting useless talk, afk, i will just do based on what i know and tidak apa attitude then casual guild is for u lol
I think u have to admit, alot of people sure wan endgame exp but think by doing just enough is sufficient and what is so wrong about doing so. Anyhow the game has address such issue with the introduction of 10man raid and etc.


@the person who said vanilla wow dont have 25man raid, kindly reread my statement... i did mention after vanilla as i join during the sunwell era ><

Also for people mentioning why am i bashing malaysian so hard and not our *neighours*, this is fairly simple... as a malaysian myself (i know it is bad to judge but..) we should have at least someone to talk about the poison / unhealthy attitude of ours and take care of our own first. Why bothered with our neigbhours. Yes, it may seem unfair to the rest goodies and i am sorry as it only takes 1 rotten apple to spoil the whole barrel

I moved passed this phase and found other solutions di just wanna share and thank god ff14 only require 4 people haha (i just started, if there raid/dun needing more dont bash... yet to read finish the whole system and sorry for not doing so quicky )

Hmm I'm trying to help my friend with his SE account.( Used 2 hours going back and forth with the SE live tech chat resetting password, token, security question orz. man... the queue!!! it's like 20mins per person to wait. )

Anyway, I'm looking at the emails he received from SQEX ( yes, he gave me his email to check stuff). The thing is, there's only a total of 3 emails from SQEX,
- first being the "Return to FF14 ARR" which describe the new revamp, links to the FF14 official website, and saying that my friend's account is automatically invited to phase 3 beta test, and will receive further notice on how to download the client.
- Second email : about regional data center and world transfer.
- Third email is about the status of world application.
Seems like he never receive any email concerning downloading the beta. I can't even log into the beta forum with his account, it says service account not active. Went into the account management, ff14 beta is not activated >.<

Now, I don't know about 1.0 players who never apply for the beta. How you guys get into beta? it's automatic? or got receive an email with instruction? or it's the same as other beta tester getting the invitation key from email then proceed from there?

Automatic for me, i didn't apply for beta, it arrive in my email with a key and instruction on where to download the clients....
The options list in my SQEX account also updated with FFXIV:ARR once i entered the key in....

yup P3 T5 will be wiped out.. P4 will be announced later on... (still dont have ff14.. sucks if you dont have credit/debit card) %(&^(*^(!!! )

yes character wipe on beta 3 will be cast upon completion of beta 3 test 5 which is from today till next monday...for obt i guess should just give 1-2 weeks tops for the dev to prepare for some bug fixing before getting into open beta.

No need so hardcore until P4.

they said the servers will be closed for 2 weeks after p3 test 5 ends.

p4 will probably start next month.

What you read in the Dev Tracker is what you get. Impossible not to be able to find any news in there.
