Cause i am in Gilgamesh, don't think i will join Tonberry just for a group photo, unless it is all wiped and starting from scratch, in which i will jump onto Tonberry.

This Phase 2 will be starting from scratch again or we can play back the character in Phase 1?

QUOTE(nwk @ Jun 20 2013, 11:10 AM) If I am not mistaken, the free game is only for those who bought the original PC game. If you have that, then you don't need to buy ARR, but they still need to pay for the PS3 version. Great! I get it then......... but i wonder if i can upgrade to digital download copy of the collector edition.... |

Will probably recreate and play in Masamune. Still prefer GLD rather than LNC.

QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Jun 24 2013, 09:42 AM) yea dont get me wrong as well...the game is awesome in certain way and the feels is like final fantasy...but it really needs a change in the battle system where TP is unlimited imho but skill are restricted to spamming....i know TP is not unlimited if u are using sprint etc before battle lol. Oddly, i am running out of TP in prolong fights as a GLD. It does not feel unlimited as you all mention to me. In short fights, TP does not seems to be a resource issue thought.my thau has aoe which is blizzard 2 but the AOE is something like having it on ur character instead of casting it in a location..it binds mobs movement for 2sec..i did not manage to play the game's dungeon yet so i am not sure how good this game going to be but i hope it will not be a 1month game |

Anyone play GLD? After the Ulduar Envoy quest, where the heck you continue the main quest?
I have been searching for a continuation of the main story line, but can't seems to find any leads to the next quest. Ending up have to level alternate jobs... |

I have done the part where you are being made into Ul'duar emmisary, to be sent to Limsa Lominsa and Gridania.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Now my question is where do i go from here? There is no suggestion on where to go after this, i went back to Ul'duar and didn't see anything. Explore the whole Gridania and Limsa, nothing either. Trek thru the wilderness around Ul'duar, Limsa and Gridania, also turns up nothing. I am begining to think this is a bug or something. |

QUOTE(M1X @ Jun 24 2013, 11:13 AM) After you talk to the leader of all those "new" cities you sent to, you'll be given a new quest to head into a dungeon north of Aleport (Limsa, take ship/ferry > Aleport > walk north). You'll have 3 dungeons in a row from now on. So first one here at Aleport, second one sent you back to Gridania (center shroud), the last one sent you back to Ul'dah- West Tanaran (not sure if name correct). Ah i see. So it is grouping time. Time to put up the old <LFG> tag....If you didn't find you quest listed in journal, check around Limsa see if you missed any main-quest icon on the map. Anyone in Gilgamesh?? LOL! I ned LFG..... QUOTE(Vickyle @ Jun 24 2013, 11:16 AM) Check your journal see if there is any quest there? If not, go back to Vesper Bay and scan the Waking Sand, the place where Minfilia is. You should be doing grand company quest next. Will do that too, but i am pretty sure i trekked the whole surrounding around Ul'duar, Lima and Gridania. At least to places which i can trek to.... not those level 20-40 places mind you. |

QUOTE(nwk @ Jun 24 2013, 03:33 PM) I still think single player story quests & class quests is dumb. I for one think single player story quest is a good thing. You should not force people to party up just to advanced in game story. MMO is not single player game. They should change so people have the option of inviting friends to help in the quests. That was the main issue i have with FF11. Everything is LFG LFG LFG...... everyone sit around with LFG. Not in group means no advancement. I do not mean to be anti-social, but it is not very rewarding to sit around 40 mins everyday to LFG, not everyone has all the time in the world to LFG or has a static group of friends to play with. |

QUOTE(poipoy @ Jun 24 2013, 04:23 PM) This is my opinion and my thoughts only. Very well said! Honestly I care non for the English beta forum. For me their discussion looks like kids war, everyone think their opinion is the best and must not be countered. Someone may not like some aspect of the game, but that "some aspect" might not annoyed other players and these "other players" either just accept it or even like it. It's a never ending loop. No one game can cater to all the taste of the individual gamers. There's one exception though, when one aspect really fail to amuse the large public, then it will be listened to and actions taken upon to remedy it. For example the failure of 1.0 and the constant upgrade and remake of the game. So maybe if you really don't like some parts of the game system, please do not force other to accept how you feel. Best action should be posting your feedback to SE on the feedback forum. The English forum is just a troll paradise where every fans is bored till the next playable test date, and thus just watch every new threads/post like a vulcher. For my own thoughts of the game. Well, I really like it. If you ask me to give a personal score, I would give 9/10. Not max because I'm concern with the job system, and leveling pace. I felt that the pace is too fast but maybe it's due to beta and everything concerning leveling is sped up. If however this is actually the pace during launch, I will accept it since I do not think it's such a big deal for myself. - Graphics is really good, superb actually. TERA nor GW2 which are hyped on graphics can't even compete at this level. - Character motions and visuals are just too pretty and fluid. - Gameplay such as FATE, quest seeking, guildhest, leves, dungeons, well, just like any other mmos so nothing special. - Battle system is so-so on the approach factor. However it's excellent in action-graphic-wise. I do agree it need to be tweaked. - Class/Job system. The only mmo nowadays that let you have all in one character which why I fell in love with the game. - Sound/Music is superb and can never be heard from other mmos. This is getting long, but my final thoughts on why the game will not fail me is due to the development team. I left 1.0 after 2 or 3 weeks, can't remember, around time when the producer letter starts or when feedbacks were asked. Seriously, I never thought that the communication between the development team and the community players continue until now. This is the first game that I have seen that the communication between both party is so strong. Dev Team do look at the feedbacks and if it's valid in their point of view, they will carried it out. Best thing is from time to time they'll show players what's to be expected. From what I've seen, and if FF14 is anything like FF11 in the evolution aspect. I strongly believe that there'll be lots of content during end-game as well. However this remain to be questioned since at beta we won't know for sure. Anyway, I do suggest that don't be too picky. If one aspect really put you off to enjoy the game as a whole, my advice is well, give feedback to the dev team (not to the trolls in general discussion in beta forum). If no improvement is made (in your own opinion), either accept or put the game down. Last short story. I've introduced the game to 4 friends of mine. We met in other mmo 3 yrs back and remain friends and kept contact with skype/wataspp etc. I've got them 4 beta keys. They tested on it last friday-sunday. Today they're all in depression and complained the 2 day test short period lol. They've never seen such beautiful mmos, and can change class on-the-go. They usually don't have sound switch on since we're on skype, but I told them to turn on the volume, they're mesmerized by the quality of the music. These are 4 people who always spend alot in F2P mmo with cash shops, and they now never want to go back to those mmo they were playing. The fact that their english is primary school standard, and they're enjoying the game, it's already a success for the dev team. |

My happy moments in MMO is to play girly character! It is all in the pixel i tell you! The pixel!! |

QUOTE(M1X @ Jun 24 2013, 06:46 PM) Your answer is found in Granado Espada..... QUOTE(nwk @ Jun 24 2013, 07:24 PM) I assume you have not unlocked any dungeons yet because in the main quest, you actually need a party of 4 to go into the dungeon. So if you are playing solo, you will have to sit around LFG & if you can't find anyone to party, you can't advance the story any further. Don't get me wrong, i do enjoy playing in a group, but what i don't enjoy is when the game forces you into a group for general gameplay like in FF11 and all the kiddy rages when your PUG sucks. Hey, not everyone play for keeps, some do it for fun and i can respect that. Know that, there is casual player and hardcore 16 hours a day player. In my previous post, I didn't say that I wanted to force people into a party for a quest. I just said to have it as an option for those who like to have their friends help them do the quest. Like someone posted, there is no MMO that fits every player base out there, what they can do is for something that appeal to the masses.
