Nice. Too bad no M.2 ports installed. Is it possible for us to install on our own if we can get the connector & solder it on to the board?
*
erm, dont think it will work. Who knows besides of the M.2 connector wasn't there, i not sure if other component needed to link up the bus is removed or not

Direct bring to SC to claim easy.

Hardware cover 2 year IINM

3. the date for the packing list that come with my y410p is early about a month that i buy...is it normal?

Normal, the manufacturing date + shipping duration so one month consider normal

No Y510p SLI model in China. Their price are relatively higher than here. smile.gif

Y510p spec in China
i5-4200m/GT755m/4GB/1TB/Dvdrom/1366x768@RMB7299 selling around RMB5849
i7-4700MQ/GT755m/8GB/1TB/Bluray/1920x1080@RMB9999 selling around RMB8599

In China, local brand Hasee gaming series using Clevo barebone is a much better choice.

Y500 vs Y510p
RM2999 < 3399
3630QM < Haswell 4700MQ more power efficiency
No optimus and always run on GT750m < Nvidia optimus to switch gpu to Intel HD4600 for lower temp and longer battery life
extra mSATA port for SSD > no extra port for SSD, can only install SSD in HDD bay.

Y500 is 400 buck cheaper than Y510p and its the better choice, but it phased out ady.
