My friend came back from Japan recently, no haul... Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan are the best locations in Asia for Lego shopping.

I think if you buy above SGD$100 you qualify to join their membership and get 10%. In Novena Square they always have a sets for clearance in the middle of the store. And they have sets where they took out the minifigs, good if you just want to buy a particular building or vehicle... or just for parts.

This is the only store I know, never been to others as my trip to Singapore is always very short and work related... Only have time to have a quick browse...
