Everyone seen this already?

http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...7053&sec=nation

I think they made a typo. 6m model is super huge but looking at the picture it's more of a 6 feet model laugh.gif
*
lol! Yeah, look more like a 6-feet model! doh.gif Maybe they will hang it up 6m high or have a stand?

How I wish they will have the X-Wing like the one displayed in New York City... That alone is worth a trip to LLM! nod.gif

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jun 17 2013, 05:04 PM)
... and I heard the 7499 Flexible and Straight Tracks, the flexible tracks are lousy/horrible. I got it from 7938, and the whole thing is like vibrating when the train pass over it. It is good for just a few short connections, but not for a continuous range >4-5 pieces.

Better to get 7896 Straight/Curved Tracks
icon_rolleyes.gif
*
The trick with the flexible tracks is to brace them. If you just lay them on the flat floor then they are bound to wiggle around when the train goes over them unlike the rigid straight/curve tracks. I'm assuming you have them laid on the floor rather than fixed on a baseplate or something similar... Once you have them set in a city layout then it shouldn't be a problem because the flexi tracks will be fixed to something, they are just too flimsy on their own... nod.gif

With 7896 you end up with too many extra curve tracks. In most city layouts you can only use so many curve tracks, what city builders miss most are straight tracks and Lego (being clever people they are) don't give many straight tracks in the train sets... If you take a look in BrickLink, Straight tracks are the most expensive, almost 3x the price of curved tracks. Flexi tracks can be had from RM0.60! lol! icon_rolleyes.gif

7936 Level Crossing used to be a cheap way of getting straight tracks but Lego realised that it was selling too well and affected the sales of 7896 and 7499 so it was discontinued.

QUOTE(Ultraman the great @ Jun 17 2013, 05:08 PM)
i think after you checked the prices of 7896.  whistling.gif then you will "make do" with 7499.  tongue.gif
*
Agree! laugh.gif

Thanks all. Excited as some hauls flying from the UK this week. Will share later.

I think I know what it is... brows.gif Do share/spam pics ya! biggrin.gif

The haze is killing me, been feeling symptoms of hay fever (headache + eyes bengkak) and having breathing difficulties... sad.gif Hope everyone is coping well...

My haul still stuck in Europe, waiting me to pay but Euro is still too strong... shakehead.gif

The good news is, with the haze and no new hauls to look forward to I opened up some sets to play. Hope to spam some photos when I'm not feeling so under the weather.... haha! thumbup.gif

Your tracking number clearly states that the parcel originates from Hungary. The suffix in your tracking number "HU" is Hungary, maybe your seller has an affiliate in Hungary?
