QUOTE(angellus_riku @ Aug 5 2013, 08:51 AM)
hi, was wondering if anyone here used the pocket wifi before when you guys are in Japan?
I'm going there with a friend and we were thinking of renting this pocket wifi from

http://globaladvancedcomm.com/pocketwifi.html
(just in case we hilang, at least still can google map LOL)
10 days rental = 6600 yen with tax (collection from airport post office)

Another alternative is the visitor sim from b-mobile.
1GB for 14 days = approx 4200 yen with tax (collection from airport post office)

A bit dilemma now.
And when they say UNLIMITED DATA, meaning there's no quota on the wifi rite? (coz i'm no gadget gizmo, so a bit blurcase here)

Any advice on this as to which is better?
main usage is watsapp, google map (MOSTLY) and routes to use (just in case sesat jalan)
*
Unlimited mean no quota. WHy you need google map so much? Plan to drive in Japan?

They also have in Busan, SKorea. So I can use my membership when I go Busan end of this month. biggrin.gif
Btw in Japan, they are always located near train stations, so very handy, just walk to hotel from train.

Wah, you want to go beach kah?
If you want nightlife and seafood, stay at Station1, which is at the main train station.

Not so. I've been in a few with plenty of male staff.

Women's hotel? Wait until you go into an onsen all naked and the workers mopping in the men's locker room and handing out towels are WOMEN! shocking.gif

http://www.skymark.jp/en/
i booked at above site, it does not let me go into the next screen unless i remove the spacing between my first name (eg: Tan Mee Lee, must be written as Last name: TAN, First name: MEELEE (without spacing)

"Please enter your information in single-byte alphanumeric characters.
Enter your name in single-byte alphabetical characters. "

im just worried if this will cause any problem during check in, and it does not require any other information other than name, age, and gender, how about passport no??

First Name are Tan last Name are MeeLee

If you got Christian Name example Albert Tan Mee Lee
Then will be First Name: Albert last Name: TanMeeLee

Domestic flight no need any passport. Once you finished your booking , you will got booking number. You just need to show them booking number at Skymarks check in counter when u at Japan.
