QUOTE(BlackPen @ Jan 4 2014, 09:37 PM) 4th Day -Tsukiji market > Ginza > Harajuku > Shibuya > Shinjuku If you are planning to queue for tuna auction at tsukiji, then day 4 seems damn packed. To queue for tuna auction you need to wake up at like 3am, then auction, then (presumably) queue for sushi dai / daiwa, by that time you already awake for 9-10 hours, surely damn tired d. |

I am going to Tokyo on April 18 till 25.
I am leading my friends around... But then well, good hotel sure expensive. Last year May I stayed in Hotel Metropolitan, it is super darn convenient, close to everything one can ask for like JR/Tokyo Metro (3 mins), McD/Mos/7-11/Family Mart just at left and right (1 minute of walk from hotel entrance) |

Some questions on kuroneko yamato luggage forwarding service.
Do I need to inform my hotel (destination) about this arrangement? And is it really reliable and safe? Thanks This post has been edited by Human Nature: Jan 5 2014, 12:25 PM |

You can go up to the top floor to have a nice view of tokyo. I think u need to pay 1000yen to go up. I can go up for free though so i am not sure of the exact amount. Lunch set up there is also 1000yen but need to be a bit early cause it can get fully book pretty quickly.Ueno park during later january/early of February got any flower to see?no sakura right Sakura is late march or early april. It depends very much on the weather |

I honestly don't see the point in going then. Unless you wanna queue for tuna auction or queue for sushi dai / daiwa sushi, or maybe if your hotel is super near. Otherwise no reason to go. |

Isn't there have quite a lot of sushi shop other than sushi dai / daiwa sushi? And also visit the wet market will do This post has been edited by BlackPen: Jan 5 2014, 02:34 PM |

Would be cool if they're less than RM200 a night. |

Yes, just inform the hotel and they will arrange the delivery.Do I need to inform my hotel (destination) about this arrangement? And is it really reliable and safe? Thanks I used it to delivery my luggages to Tokyo when in Osaka because going to stop in Hakone before heading to Tokyo. Much more convenient without bringing the luggages |

I found this site, https://www.airbnb.com/, that lets you rent a room and stay with the locals. Looks like a really fun experience and its also cheap. Anyone tried something like this before? I might just give it a go.

Anyone tried something like this before? I might just give it a go. I tried it when i went to Europe. A bit of hit and miss there. Got a very nice place in london and the owner was really nice enough to pay for my cab to the train station. As for Paris i did not do a better research and ended up in a not so nice surrounding. The apartment was really nice but just that outside.... |

Whats the best data plan to use in Tokyo? Was planning to use Digi which is RM50+ per day. I might be relying a lot on Google map.
