No China people during that CNY period?? I saw China people everywhere in KL, Singapore, Thailand during CNY.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Oct 17 2013, 01:28 PM)
Japanese New Year celebrated at June.  Ends of Jan only those Chinatown celebrate CNY only.  CNY in Japanese are not public holiday.

Japanese one whole year only 2 Peak Season
One at End of April Early of May ...7 Days ''Golden Holiday''
&
Japanese Bon Odori Season.  At End of August Early of Setember... 7 Days ''Golden Holiday''

Avoid Golden Holida at all cost...ALL COST.....you will never get any Shinkansen ticket , Air ticket.  All fully reserve to Japanese.  Foreigners Fxxx off.

You have to Avoid Taiwan & Korea Golden Holiday also  Because they are so closed to Japan.  For them going Japan is like Malaysian going Singapore only.  So Japan that time will be full of People.

Other than That.....that all.....

Example...Why ends Jan early of Feb , Japan will alot people at Disney?  Those people 70% will be Taiwanese.  Due to CNY golden 1 week Holiday in Taiwan...alot Taiwanese will shoot out to Japan.
So you you guys say what is the Best time to Visit Japan?
Whole July + Early of August ...Summer Season....hottest season.  Guarantee no people everywhere.
Or November.  Autumm Season. All people will working hard to preperation December X'mas and New Year celebration. November All japanese will work hard no time to play.

This question again. Tourists are aware of the risk and they go at their own risk. Anyone who is worried or concerned about radiation should not go

Bro Regent,

Really that bad during their golden holiday? My travel date is exactly End Apr - Early May 2014. Hotels at Hokkaido under Agoda cannot be search on these dates. Airline schedule also unable to select on these dates sad.gif But according to Japan Guide website, year 2014 golden holiday is not so favorable due to falls on Saturday and Sunday. Can I anticipate a lower crowd than usual?

When Golden Holiday come...ticket won't sold to Foreigner. Ends of story. Your only travel transport is only Self Rental Car or Express Bus (if you Lucky)
If Travel on road mean you will facing traffic Jam on Highway. Very serious Jam!!! can up to 10 hour
Or travel by Train but Local train. Mean the Train stop all station.
Limited Express , Shinkansen & Air Ticket won't sold to foreigners. All reserve to Local Japanese.

Tips Here.
Go Wikipedia, From Tokyo to Kyoto. There is a Tokaido Main Line. This Line are Parallel to Tokaido Shinkansen Line. Before Japan have Shinkansen , everyone is travel using Tokaido Main line.

There is a Local train you can take. Like Our KTM Kommuter. From Tokyo to Kyoto need 8 -10 Hour. Stop more than 100 station.

Travel to Japan on Japanese Golden Holiday Period is most stupid decision. The Crowd so mess....you can't sightseeing also much thing also. Wasted alot of time.

Hi Guys!

If i could please get some information, I would dearly appreciate it. As I have read from the front page, I'm guessing that there are restaurants which do not serve pork and is deemed halal but without the JAKIM cert or even the HALAL logo being displayed and some people may be alright with that.

However, the group that will be heading to Yokohama, Japan next month might not be as liberal. unsure.gif I hope that you guys and gals could help me in recommending some of the restaurants which are HALAL certified and approved. Below you would find more info:

Place of stay : Intercontinental Yokohama Grand
Group type : Doctors & Corporate Travelers
Meals : Dinner

I hope that some of you could share your experiences in finding HALAL food in your travels to Yokohama! Please do recommend me some! I hope you could separate the HALAL certified one from the HALAL but without the Logo one.

Thanks! Much appreciated. smile.gif

Some of forumers here plan going Hokkaido , Okinawa , Tokyo by taking Flight. Since Peach Airline are Cheap.
At Kansai International Airport , Peach Airline operates at New Terminal 2. How to get over there?

If you Taking Flights to Kansai Airport, you will reach Terminal 1. If you taking trains from Osaka / Kyoto City, you will reach Kansai Airport Station.
First you need to walk to Aeroplaza.
From AeroPlaza Ground floor , you can take free shuttle Bus to Terminal 2.
