Was thinking to travel from Osaka to Hokkaido for few nights, but do not want to bring big luggages along.
1. Leaving it at a hotel, do they charge? 2. Or is there any alternative where we can store our big luggage by renting some luggage storage areas? |

Regent: Thanks.. Still planning around that's why need information on the luggage, as i will be travelling to few places..
Anyway found some information on the luggage storage.. Thanks ! I am still thinking about my itenary for 11nights.. bought MAS KUL-KIX for 2014 trip. 1. Osaka (1n) - tokyo (2n) - mt fuji (2n) - Hokkaido (5n) flight back to Osaka (1n) 2. Osaka straight flight to Hokkaido (5n) - mt fuji (2n) - tokyo (2n) - Osaka (2n) Any other suggestions? Which way should be better? From the way I look at it, seems like option 2 more smooth? |

estcin: oh sorry ! my mistake, i read the map wrongly ! thanks for the pointer..
Just mapped through my itenary, i should actually take the 1st option, because of my travel date 26Apr-8may 2014, the sakura on hokkaido starts early may, so i should actually take Hokkaido as my last travel destination.. |

estcin: the shibazakura start on Apr 20, so should be able to see them when i arrive at Osaka and straight to Mt Fuji as my first destination.. after Mt Fuji then to Tokyo and finally Hokkaido
Only hope the Hokkaido sakura comes in time before i head back to Osaka.. |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Sep 24 2013, 03:37 PM) Any route or idea that you can suggest off bro Regent? I have limited 5 nights that's why i tried to map my driving route to have the least optimal travelling time within cities. Definitely would love to cover Kushiro but kinda far apart. Any interesting part at Wakkanai beside the Resin & rebun island? I was thinking too, should i give a miss to monbetsu, since I am also visiting Mt Fuji shibazakura, since it's almost the same as Takinoue Moss Pink park. What's your comment on this bro Regent? |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Sep 24 2013, 03:52 PM) Going Hokakido no visit Otaru = no go Hokkaido. I did include in Otaru at first during my planning at Sapporo. But, i'm just worried included Otaru in Sapporo, i will have lesser time to spend at Sapporo town. Will take your advise to include Otaru during Sapporo.Other placed depend on you...because each placed got it own special. Serious one are Otaru is MUST. Anyway, Furano flower park 2 hours allocation for visit is it enough? |

I am so confused now
I am actually staying at Osaka Floral Inn Namba, so I tried google map, the direction shows from JR NANBA only need to walk 10 minutes. From http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4001.html website, it shows as OCAT JR Namba. So if i were to take JR pass train from Kansai airport to OCAT JR Namba, what station should i stop? From google map, JR Namba is a totally different station from OCAT JR Namba. Anyone can enlighten me on this? This post has been edited by shinchan99: Oct 8 2013, 06:27 PM |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Oct 8 2013, 05:57 PM) Same Station. Actually not call Nanba. It call Nankai Corporation railway Namba Station. Short name Nankai Namba Station. Bro,It was private company namba station. Namba got 4 Seperate Station but link together on underground walkway. JR Namba station Kintetsu Namba station Nankai Namba station Osaka subway metro Namba station Just to confirm based on my understanding. 1. Kansai Airport -- Nankai Limited Exp --> Arrive Nanba This station only serve as a station between airport right? 2. To travel around Osaka, the nearest is still by using subway @ Nipponbashi from my hotel correct? 3. To travel around Osaka WITH my JR Pass, nearest station will be at JR-Namba correct? |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Oct 9 2013, 12:37 PM) Nanba & Namba is same Bro Regent,Due to ur Computer OS is english....google maps will show Nanba My computer are Japanese OS......everything is Japaneses ..... My google maps show Namba. So Basically ur Hotel at Noda area? So basically If u take JR train from Kansai Airport..U will reach JR Namba/Nanba Station. From this Station Walk through Namba/Nanba Underground to Sennichimae Namba/Nanba Station. Then take Sennichimae Metro Line to Noda Station. Please Note: Sennichimae Line are not JR.....you cannot used ur JR Rail pass on this Line. So this should be the correct waypath? |
