Just watched a Youtube compilation video featuring Aspas.
From the videos, Aspas looks like a guy who can play on both wings, centre forward, exceptional dribbling skills, clinical and possess a conversion rate of 90% and above.
Liverpool certainly got themselves a bargain at 7mil because the video shows he is worth at least 20mil.
That's just YOUTUBE.

QUOTE Liverpool’s signing of Iago Aspas is being blocked by the Spanish Football Federation in a legal row over the player’s representation.
And according to emails seen by MirrorSport, Kop managing director Ian Ayre continued to negotiate with unauthorised agents over the deal even after discovering that he was not dealing with the player’s official FIFA-licensed representatives.
Aspas has a representation agreement with Jorge Santome and Carmelo Vicente until 2014, but attempted to force through a move to Anfield by enlisting the help of Barcelona-based agency PromoEsport.
As exclusively reported by the Daily Mirror last week, wrangling over the deal was holding up the finalisation of the transfer, and Celta Vigo and the Spanish Federation are now so furious at the conduct of Ayre, Liverpool and PromoEsport that they are refusing to release Aspas’ International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
This means that although the 25-year-old could be presented as a Reds player and even train with the side, while the RFEF refuse to release the ITC the player cannot feature in any official matches for the Reds.
Santome and Vicente are now taking action against PromoEsport through the Spanish Federation, backed by Celta Vigo and several other La Liga clubs who are angry with PromoEsport’s conduct.
The agency, which on their website claims to represent another Liverpool target, Barcelona’s Luis Alberto, is banned from the Celta training ground and used the player’s brother to present the offer to the Galician club in order to hide their involvement.
A Liverpool spokesman said: “There was a complication with the paperwork. For the deal to be completed both FAs have to release the paperwork and we are waiting for that to happen. However, we are confident that will be done shortly.” SOS:https://www.facebook.com/EmpireOfTheKopYNWA/posts/676515962363694

QUOTE He apologised for his previous misdemeanours and revealed he just wanted to be appreciated for his footballing qualities. 'I had wrong attitudes, I recognised my mistakes, I apologised and would love to be valued more for my game on the field,' he added. He was out for most of the season and when he came back, he showed glimpses of quality. Let's see how he performs next season. I'm guessing you're referring to triple H aka Voronin.

I saw him play at the World Cup in 2006 before we signed him and he was brilliant. Scored a fair number of goals for Hertha when we loaned him out. Decent player, just wasn't right for us.

No, we'll need 3 senior goalkeepers. Gulasci just left for Red Bull, meaning Jones will be 3rd choice. Expect Mignolet to put pressure on Reina for the starting lineup.

Signing aspas seems to be a gamble.he could either fit in or struggle.
Financial wise it makes sense.Even if he fails we dont lose much like we did with the british flops.
I believe FSG are not letting br splash on any one player due to previous blunders by kenny and to some extent br himself.

About Suarez. What matter now is How's Liverpool Football Club in 2013/14 season. No 1 is bigger than Liverpool FC.
Finally some interesting stories after a quiet week.
Aspas - Confirmed in despite a last minute hitch - Will go thru next week. Ignore report the deal is OFF.
Alberto - Finally the player have given "The Green Light" to join us. - We have made an offer which being turned down by Seville - With the player had given an indication he's willing to join BR revolution - A compromise deal shud b in tge table next week to seal the deal. - Our No.3 signing.
Simon Mignolet - Mooted that sunderland had turned down our 6.5mil deal - Sunderland want 10mil. - We r prepared to table a 8mil. - Remained to b seen whether we want to push a 10mil for a keeper - Reina looks like leaving as Vlades moved closer to a Monaco moved.
Papa - We have turn our attention elsewhere where Schalke insisit he's worth 19mil - As i mention before ..Now we have made Toby Alderweireld as a priority signing
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - much depend on carroll transfer to west ham. - Inside source stating Carroll will join them next week paving way.. - We r making Henrikh Mkhitaryan our most expensive summer signing - We r looking to table an 15mil bid but Shakhtar Donetsk value him more than 20mil - A compromise deal at 18mil with add on may seal the deal nect week.
Morata - Real reserved striker which also currently playing for spain under 21. - He's was one spain most impressive performer currently together with Isco. - Looking to add him but no concrete news yet.. But signing Christian Tello remains our Forward Priority after Aspas
Next week should b very hot here...Hehe
Cheers. Chris.

I believe FSG are not letting br splash on any one player due to previous blunders by kenny and to some extent br himself. Goes without saying that signing a foreign player is always a gamble. He looks like he will fit into our system and it comes down to whether or not he'll acclimatise in England. FSG have reiterated their stance on negative spending time and time again. Not something new. The only reason they sanctioned the purchase of Carroll in particular was because we got a healthy profit from the sale of Torres. We also got a fair sum from Mereiles. The transfer fee for this season was said to be $20 million but if we do sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan, it means we'll be breaking the back. It could also indicate that Suarez, Pepe or both could be leaving and we're also looking to offload Skrtel and Shelvey. Having said all that, we did pay a fare sum for Suarez and we will for Mkhitaryan if the deal goes through. By our standards 20 over mil is a fair sum but as both players are young and have good numbers, it was an educated risk.
