just browse thru senq/senheng again just now... come across asus fonapad me371mg price RM849 (member discount rm90 plus voucher rm50 end up RM709.. whitch one worth buying?

sorry for asking too many question.
note: using gsmarena as main info site.. currently fonepad no review

Fonepad is a different league. it's only an Intel Atom single core, and app compatibility might be an issue.

if you need a tablet urgently, then the nexus7c @ 699 is a bargain

Hello,

I want to ask anyone who got any idea how to choose cheap China brand tablets.

I'm having one main problem for this one cause a relative ask me to find one for RM200 rclxub.gif

1.Brand.  Non-mainstream brand (Ainol, Pipo, Vido, Onda, Momo etc)
2. Budget. RM200. can be a bit extra.
3. Specs. Not sure. Last I checked was A13, 512 Ram, 4GB memory, ICS android and Wifi.
4. What you need in the tablet (Games, as a toy for young kids to play with)

Any tablet to recommend at this price point? smile.gif

If you can stretch, here's some suggestions..

- Vido N70S - RM259 (6 months warranty)
- Pipo S1S - RM269 (6 month warranty)

Thanks for the fast reply notworthy.gif

I will ask and see first whether it's suitable or not.

May I know where you you found the price for those tablets?

I searched in lelong.com.my which list so many different prices for the same items rclxub.gif

We have  3 different  "230 - 350 ringit" China tablets from lowyat plaza.  The 3 of them (vs Ipad) have similar slowness, horrible battery and below average screen quality.
*
What tablets are those? hmm.gif

Wow really cheap for nexus model

Especially 32 GB. U should be lucky and happy for such a find

Meanwhile, my brother wanna read PDF and surf net but don't want invest into the thousands range
No China products

I'm left wit nexus 7 option only right?
*
Read PDF + suft net? Not necessarily the Nexus 7.

have a look at the Acer A1-810 -> http://www.gsmarena.com/acer_iconia_tab_a1_810-5399.php

I find the 8" model to be much nicer to read PDFs than the 7" models.

Stock 4.2.2 keyboard has swipe feature. Or you can try SwiftKey from the Play Store.
